Microsoft will begin selling its 30-gigabyte Zune music and video player Nov. 14 for $249.99 to compete with Apple Computer's market-dominating iPod.
The company will also sell a music-subscription service for $15 a month, as well as individual songs for 99 cents.
Apple charges $249 for its 30-gigabyte iPod and 99 cents for songs. So there is no price war here.
It's just on time for the holiday season. So what is your pick? iPod or Zune?
