So far i have had two people ask me what the hell is in all the bowls! Great conversational pieces!
Well, can't you tell, those are onions! *smile*
This wonderful elderly lady i care for weekly, had her onions all waiting out for me to place through out her home. huh? ok.... She told me to get some bowls out and place one unpeeled onion in each room. ok? I did.
She was just smiling up a storm and told me i did good.... without questioning. lol.... Then she handed me a email from someone...her son got a copy of it. It was page after page of the healing that onions do!
It amazed me so i took notes and surfed for the website on onions redemies/healing. Sure enough i found the site. Anyway.... I have onions placed through out my own home. In Country Crocks bowls. *smile*
Here is some of the email........... In 1919 when the flu killed 40 million people there was this doctor that visited the farmers to see if he could help them combat the flu. Many of the farmers and their family has contracted it and many died.
The doctor came upon one farmer and to his surprise, everyone was very healthy. When the doctor asked what the farmer was doing different the wife replied that she had placed an unpeeled onion in the rooms.....
The doctor couldn't believe it and asked if he could have one of the onions and place it under the microscope. .....he did.... the onion absorbed the flu virus....keeping the family healthy.
There are some other stories about how onions are healers and prevent flus. I say, like the rest.... i have nothing to lose but a buck or two. So, i took this to heart and now i have pretty little onions placed in each room.
You should check it out. You'll find it by asking about onion remedies. I would like to take this perfect moment and share a good easy recipe you can put into a bowl! *smile*
