  I'm surprised you're spending much time there. I thought you were finding it a bit crazy. My computer doesn't do what yours does, but FB does seem to irritate it. I've often suspected just having FB running has caused problems, like freezing up. Anyway, glad to see you. woman

  I only check FB if someone in my family posts pictures that I want to see, and they let me know through gmail.  That's the only way FB will open for me...through gmail.  But once I get there it goes crazy and freezes my computer so I switch to Twiiter. FB is just too frustrating. Come to think of it, I never had computer problems untill I signed up for FB....hmm.

  Hi Twyla!  Yeah, FB can make my computer finicky also, that's why I do very limited activities on there.  If my computer will load it, and fairly quickly, I'll do it ... but if it has issues, no amount of time will be sufficient for me to wait, I just skip out on it.  That's why I had to give up on FarmVille and FarmTown, and a couple other games.

  Oy! FB is not my friend either.  They actually froze my ability to comment a while back.  Still have not figured out what I did to piss them off.  I find that when I'm in Vampire Wars that I have to constantly go to home because it gets stuck "thinking".

  i did a comparison test between i.e., firefox and opera a couple years ago. i installed a fresh operating system each time and used each one exclusively for 3 months. they all ended up performing the same. each had a couple minor good points that the others didn't have, firefox worked better with linux apps and i.e. worked better with windows than firefox did. right now, allot of sites are optomized for i.e. because it's the most widely used, which makes them a little less efficient with firefox, which mozilla makes up for by not having so much overhead, but it's not as seamless with windows os as i.e., and some sites won't work with firefox at all, so the browsers all end up being pretty equil.

  most of the people i know have trouble with fb from time to time, sometimes they can't get into their games for a day, sometimes the chat doesn't work, it's different problems. it's because fb is constantly updating the code, like last week when fb instituted the live feed and news feed views. that's a major change to the core of the fb system, so bugs had to be worked out for awhile. same with the games, they put in major core upgrades and then it takes awhile before the game is stable again.

  when i am on facebook, i just sort-of stare/read then i "try" to move around but... :~( heck, i went to myspace to check out some friends and family. i like their lay-out much better. but 97 percent of the time...it's here i stare at! lol

  My fb does the same thing when I access it through Firefox. Try using Internet Explorer instead (if you're running on a Windows OS). That did the trick for me. <*ms
