So relieved I actually hugged the neurologist, I finally had answers..or did I?

So I had chronic migraine, but something inside me asked, why? why suddenly develop migraine? stress maybe? ..maybe..

but I believe that something is causing the migraines, I dont know what..

Anyways, I was given medication that made me more drowsy than the migraines did! communicating with my doctors was just non existant, getting them to swap and change medications and doses to find the right one was again a battle..  I did reach the 3rd recommended medication after hard work!  treatment began and within a few months I was almost normal again, with the gaps between migraines getting longer and longer, I was able to figure out which of my symptoms were pre migraine, migraine and post migraine.. I was able to figure out the warning signs of the blackouts..

after about 6 months I was able to come off the tablets and the migraines stayed at bay only coming maybe two or 3 times a month.

feeling more in control of my migraines and my head back to normal, ish :-)
I could seperate the migraine symptoms from other symptoms I was having..

Bowel problems, bladder problems, back problems, vision problems,

Slowly over a couple of years, I was diagnosed with many other stuff... inflamed kidneys,  (causing or as result of my constant water infections,)  GORD, sleep  apnea? cant remember the name for it..  scans show some degeneration of my lower spine and a small 'insignificant' black spot on my right hemesphere? ..but apparntly this can be found in normal people... I am not fucking normal!! obviously my body is fucking up!! grrr.. yeah so I am frustrated by this whole thing :-) IBD, dysfunctional bladder, bladder ditrusion? or something (instable, it contracts and goes in to spasms causing a shit load of other sometimes embarrasing problems)
chronic cough, water retention, sodium deficiencies, fluttering blood pressure, geez  there are more I cant even remeber right now..

to be continued..

A doctor names your symptoms and we call it a diagnosis, pay him $150 and feel better for some reason.  Hard to believe we pay for that, isn't it?

Dr. Mirkin (www.drmirkin.com) says about the diagnoses of fibromyalgia and chronic Fatigue Syndrome should be translated as "I have no idea what's wrong with you."
Sounds like you have a similar situation.  They named it, but it didn't help you a bit.

Sounds like you have taken command of your fate and I wholeheartedly believe that's the only possible path to good health available to us all.

I was in Aberdeen last week doing a show at the Lemon Tree, a storm lashed the Granite City, and sideways rain like a giant fire hose was drenching each street at a specific annoying angle. The new shopping centre was lovely but unfinished and the cash...

Today I realised that I had written my 1,000 online blog. It all started in 2004 when I wrote a blog to help me get over writers block when I was writing my autobiography. It turns out I loved the blog and can’t quite let it go. It is syndicated to over...
