I do have a hard time picking out ice cream.
And I do love vanilla with my favorite toppings.
And Kahlua ice cream sounds really good. Coffee too.

But my weakness while I was growing up, that I have never had since I have lived in Germany or here in the Netherlands - Rocky Road!

i'm a cancer, but there's no frozen yogurt, sorbet or ice cream maker in my kitchen. my parents had one when i was a kid, but i've never owned one. my tastes for ice cream vary, i'd say i lean toward chocolate more than any other, but vanilla is probably second. i don't like dq reese's cup sundaes, but that's probably because the first one i had was at a friendly's in ohio 25 years ago, made with chocolate ice cream, and dq doesn't even come close. but other than that, they were dead on :-D -

Well I don't know, I'm a Pisces too, but I only like vanilla, with no toppings. The other flavors don't thrill me, so whenever having ice cream I automatically go for vanilla. Maybe I'm the wrong ice cream sign! -

paper- I've always liked other Piceans, we're a great bunch, I say. My wife is the rocky road fan - anything with chocolate.
twyla- Wait a minute. You can't switch signs, even for Dove Bar. What is Dove Bar, anyway?
Trav- I've tried several times to like yogurt and never made it. There's just something consistent in the flavor that doesn't set with me. We did have an ice cream maker when I was a kid. Now that's good eating. It's the only chocolate ice cream I ever cared for.
unique- Then I guess you like fruit ice cream? Peach is good. Cherry too.
soulgirl- I can see why raspberries and amaretto got an "OMG". Good stuff. And by the way, I'd heard people were after ben & jerry but didn't know why until you told me. I've never been to a ben & jerry. Have been to baskin robbins, though.
hege- You don't like toppings?!?! - chocolate, caramel (my fav), butterscotch, coconut?!?!
grape- I'm one of those who tries to keep chocolate out of ice cream. I like milk chocolate, but chocolate is everywhere - everywhere I tell you!

Dove Bars are vanilla ice cream covered in dark chocolate....sounds boring but nobody does it like Dove Bar. They're so rich you can't possibly eat more than one, believe me...I've tried.

As long as it's all natural ingredients: Vanilla Bean (when I am a purist), Chocolate Almond (if the almonds are a tad salty), Mint Chip. Latest favorite? A chocolate one with brownies & gooey caramel (nice and salty).
Love hot fudge. Love coffee gelato (it got me through one pregnancy ; ).
Love sugar cones. Love all sorts of ice creams, gelatos, etc.
Haven't tried Amaretto and raspberries on chocolate ice cream...but I WILL BE!

but toppings on vanilla usually rule. I have caramel and butterscotch topping in the cabinet now.
I'm glad coffee gelato got you through, but nothing helped me through my (her) pregnancies. Birth helped a whole lot, however.
