Question:  Do you keep a personal, private journal?  Would you share it with your partner if they asked to see it?
I've been keeping a journal online in an email address that is used for nothing else (just save to Drafts).  Now, as hubby and I are going through another bumpy phase in this marriage, he wants me to allow him full access to my journal.  He even thinks I should print it out and take it to our joint counseling session.
What would you do?

I think the fact that he's asking to see it must mean there are some trust issues.  I might consider printing it out for use in a private session with a counselor, but unless you're comfortable sharing it with him I think it should remain private.

thank you Unique!  That's what I've decided too...there are lots of trust issues and insecurities on his part.  (read paranoia)  I may print out parts to share with the counselor.
