Super Mom!  Its 9 am, the laundry is drying, the pork loin is crockpotting, the taters and carrots are stewing, the puppies have been fed, the bay window glass has been installed by muah!  I even brushed my teeth and put deodorant on!  lol.  And of course Remington is burped, fed and just fell asleep.

On top of all that!  It was daylight savings time yesterday. We "fall back an hour".  So Remington thought it was later than it really was.  That meant he fell asleep too early and last night was simply miserable.  He woke up at 3 am for a bottle and again at 6am.  He forced me out of bed at 6:30 and I was super cranky at the time and already plotting how I could squeeze in a nap.

But I snapped out of it.  Coffee fixes everything.  : )

Have a great day!

Wow! Go Star! I'm very impressed...especially by the deodorant part ;)  I remember the days of not having two body parts clean at once...lol In all seriousness...I know your family owns a glass business but it made my jaw drop to read that you, not only INSTALLED a new window today, but installed it AND did all that other stuff!

I got kind of lucky when my kids were little, in the part of the state I live in they didn't use to recognize daylight savings...not until just a few years ago. I know that my friends with babies hate it!

that's a lot of stuff to accomplish in a full day ..... for me anyhow.  I hope you do get that nap.  I like the fall daylight savings only because I get an extra hour of sleep.

Yeah, I remember those days of not knowing if I'd ever again get the chance to wash my hair or go to the bathroom alone...lol.
    Good for you Starchy.

Oh goodness fraggie, I used to be the primping queen.  I never left the house to a public place without a full face of makeup, perfectly flat ironed (CLEAN) hair and a kickass outfit complete with accessories.  Now...gosh, my lips are chapped, my hair hasnt been washed in two days, im wearing dirty jeans and a t-shirt with dry spit up on it.  And yea, Ive been all over town, to the grocery store, the post office, Phil's work....but Remington looked great : P

Dont be too impressed by the windows, I only installed the glass.  I cut it myself too!  It was fun I got to use a clip gun and some silicone : )

Uni:  lol, i didnt get an extra hour of sleep!  But yea before Remington it was cool but now his sleep schedule is all messed up.  Grrr...

Thanks twylie,  my hair has gotten used to infrequent shampooing.  I used to shampoo everyday cuz it was naturally oily.  But when i missed a few after Remington it was like my hair adjusted.  Now it doesnt look greasy at all and its much healthier and I only shampoo 3-4/7 days a week...Going to the bathroom is one of those times that im ok with leaving Remi alone to cry a little : )

Yesir hege, coffee is great : )

    Hey Starchini,
Life can be so hectic at times can't it?
Thank goodness for coffee, what an uplifter, a bit like you really are once you have had your cuppa, don't you think?

just curious, did your day end as brightly?

Oh yes haribrushed, if I dont have my coffee, nothing goes right : P

Hmmm trav, so far so good.  I toted Remington around town with me, dropped off a package at the post office, went to Superfood and got some milk and cheese, picked Phil up some Zyrtec, went to work and dropped off my hours, picked up some smokes, went back to work to pickup my paycheck, went and deposited the checks at the bank.  Came home with Remington and ate supper with Philip.  My pork loins were sooooo tender and delicious the taters so soft flavorful mmm Im stuffed.  Philip played with Remi a bit, I fed him some oatmeal.  Remi got cranky and I rocked him to sleep and Phil left to go back to work and here I am.  Id say the crappiest part of my day was realizing our paychecks ewre much tinier than we expected....Between both of us we only earned $1,007.23 in two weeks....so that was sad.  But we will figure it out.  Some people will just have to wait for their money I guess...no other way...  : /  ...But it was a pretty darn good day by my standards : )  Remington was a blast and he loves running errands.  Yup good day : )  I just hope Phil comes back home before I go to sleep...I just feel so bad for him when he works sooooooo much...Its all he does...

  • travelr712 said on Nov 03, 2009....

oh, a bit boring. mine was similar to yours yesterday, i swept and mopped the kitchen floors, vacuumed the carpets, did the laundry, scrubbed out the microwave, did the dishes, took the movies back, got a mini case of beer, did a few other things i can't remember, talked to qpdoll for a couple hours spread over the day, phone chatted with a friend who was driving from their town to mine to keep them company during the trip, i had a pretty productive day yesterday. today, not so much. 2:30 and i'm still in my bathrobe. i made coffee and a microwave kraft mac & cheese, wrote an email, chatted with qpdoll and played facebook games, and that's about it.

    thanks for asking :-)
