The page you were looking for no longer exists

I just saw madam Pelosi calling the "public option" in the healthcare bill, the "consumer option". Oh ... well ... shit ... that makes all the difference in the world, does it not? I mean, I now see the light. You do, too, I would assume since we are all a bunch of stupid idiots out here, outside the beltway.

My lord. Have all the Democrats / Socialists now running our country been drinking after Joe Biden? Do they really think we are stupid enough to go for marketing techniques that some New York ad agency probably came up with between selling bubble gum and Pepsi. That has to be the greatest marketing ever since Pepsi tastes like warmed over mule piss. Sorry, I just really do not like Pepsi.

You know, if most folks are like me, they could use some cheaper medical insurance, and I do not even have dental anymore. Thanks to Mr. Obama's failure to focus any attention on the economy, I do not even have a job. However, I do not need this pile of crap they continue to try to sneak under the radar by holding by invitation only meetings to review it and other nonsense like changing the names of things in it. I mean "end of life counciling" is just another way of saying "death panel", now admit it. Public option, consumer option ... po taa toe ... poh tah toe ... to maa toe ... toh mah toe.

It would be nice to get "free" health care, but does anyone out there really, really believe that is what is going to happen? Really? Keep in mind there is really no Santa Claus or tooth fairy. And there are no unicorns ... and there is NO FREE HEALTH CARE.

If their big 2000 page pile of steaming crap was anything but a big pile of steaming crap, would they be trying to sneak it by so fast that no one can read it? Would they keep changing the names of things like we are all brain dead out here in America land?

This is nothing more than a power grab. Socialists and liberals love to make people do things their way, to limit our freedoms to what they think is right and wrong. After all, they are the more educated, the elite, the ones who know what is best for us all ... like homosexuality, abortion, illegal immigration, legalized hard core drugs, on and on and on.

Of course, there are some cracks in the ice. Many now say they think all politicians are crooks and that none of them know how to solve our problems. I figure that is simply because they do not want to admit that the people they voted in during the last two elections (2006 and 2008) are a bunch of losers and idiots. Even Saturay Night Live is making fun of their track record (they repeated that "Obama has done nothing so far" skit again tonight).

Most every Republican they interview on TV or radio (mostly on FOX and conservative talk radio since the liberal media has no testicles) can reel off half a dozen things that could be done to improve the healthcare situation in America, like Tort reform. But, oh my god, Obama cannot do anything his ambulance chasing lawyer buddies might get upset about.

Yes, we all want cheaper healthcare, but the Democrat / Socialist approach is like asking someone if they want to stop being poked in the eye. Of course they want to stop being poked in the eye, but they do not want a spear shoved up their ass instead.

I do not want a "consumer option" Ms. Pelosi and I do not want a spear shoved up my ass either.

Sorry for the harsh words, but I am not sure which thing upsets me most ... the Democrat / Socialist bigger government agenda or the failure of so many Americans to understand what is really going on here, and that they are letting their greed for something free blind them to the truth about this administration.

i agree completely with everything you wrote here Alien.
go out and vote this week and let's begin another change.

I don't see how anyone democrat or republican, liberal or conservative could support this bill at this point.

Why would Dems want a bastardized version of their socialist bill?

They don't think we're stupid, smart, serious, brain dead...they don't think of anyone outside the Beltway.
Why hasn't the stimulus done anything for the unemployment situation?  Because it wasn't meant to.  Had it been, money would have been poured into the business sector, manufacturing, etc.
But job loss creates need, need creates dependence, dependence creates liberal voters....

That is right on. THAT is the liberal agenda in a nutshell. The founders of this nation must be looking down and wondering where things went wrong. I wonder if liberals will stand by and cheer for the Obama-ites when they start calling for changes to the Constitution. That is the kind of blind acceptance we are seeing here. I just watched a TV documentary about Nazi Germany and it had an all too deja vous feeling to it, as over used as that concept may be. I suppose we are seeing the fruits of our liberal-controlled school system. "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." A better phrase might be "Those who are told lies about the past are condemned to repeat it."

Hey, everybody will live longer... Just without a job, that's all... With "clean air" and nobody giving them grief over their sexual preference as their daughters get raped in the street. Welcome to Bizarro-world!

    Rules for Radicals

In 1971, Saul Alinsky wrote an entertaining classic on grassroots organizing titled Rules for Radicals. Those who prefer cooperative tactics describe the book as out-of-date. Nevertheless, it provides some of the best advice on confrontational tactics. Alinsky begins this way:
What follows is for those who want to change the world from what it is to what they believe it should be. The Prince was written by Machiavelli for the Haves on how to hold power. Rules for Radicals is written for the Have-Nots on how to take it away.
Fascinating read. I wonder if Obama read this book? (snort)  Anyone here think George Soros didn't buy himself a President?
  • javadewd said on Nov 01, 2009....
George Soros made over $8B last year from Wall Street, the very people that he vilifies, but alas people like Georgio are the biggest hypocrites in the world, the most arrogant criminals in the world, and the very reason why America is turning on itself.
  • Twylarants said on Nov 01, 2009....
Soros founded MoveOn.org and funds more than 500 other such groups and is financially connected to ACORN and the SEIU, all of which supported Obama.  That's how Soros was able to contribute more than the legally allowed amount to Obama's campaign.
It's a convoluted trail but all roads lead back to Saul Alinsky's dream of a socialistic United States.
  • ALIENated said on Nov 01, 2009....

Yes, I figure a lot of the illegal activity surrounding the Obama campaign, ACORN, etc., will be made much more clear during Obama's impeachment trial after Republicans take over congress again. That will most likely happen in 2011, I figure. It all makes perfect sense. There is absolutely no good reason for Obama to be president. He is a shooting star and his glamour will wear off very soon (in fact, it already is). The news media and Hollywood will turn on him as well, and he will go down in flames as quickly as he went up. It is a story as old as history. It has happened many times and has been dramatized in various movies (the old Andy Griffith movie A Face In The Crowd comes to mind). The media giveth (celebrity) and the media taketh away. That is what they do. I am not an Obama fan, obviously, but it is hard to watch someone being torn down by the media even if you do not like the person being torn down. We have some big problems ahead, and Obama is not addressing them, probably because he has no clue how to address them. He will soon be the one everyone blames for all these problems and the media will crucify him to please the masses. I figure black leaders will soon be echoing what I have been saying all along, that he is more white than black, more Arab than black even. Everyone will find good reasons to distance themselves, but that is what happens when we elect a shiny object instead of a real experienced leader with solid morals and a love for America. Obama has none of these qualities. He was a fuzzy blank slate on to which every liberal / Democrat / Socialist projected their wishes. I doubt that one percent of the people who voted for him could tell you what he meant by CHANGE YOU CAN BELIEVE IN. Maybe people will pay more attention next time. We have real problems to solve and almost a year has been wasted with nothing accomplished.

Soros made his fortune by tanking foreign currencies.....now he is working on ours....and when the dollar finally goes belly up, he will make billions if not trillions.....and it is the rank and file dem/lib/progressive/"independent" that will have the soil on their hands.......all in the name of hope and change....hallelujah.
  • Twylarants said on Nov 02, 2009....
Exactly, Mr6.  That's Soros's idea of wealth distribution...he ruins economies in order to bring the incumbent government down.
Obama doesn't need a clue, Alien.  His administration is filled with more than enough Alinsky-ites (save for Van Jones who didn't make the cut) to guide him in case he veers off in the wrong direction.

    Alinsky wrote:
“From the moment an organizer enters a community, he lives, dreams, eats, breathes, sleeps only one thing, and that is to build the mass power base of what he calls the army."
The army then changes the community from the inside out.
Soros used his wealth to get his chosen community organizer into in the White House.  The organizer filled the White House with his closest friends and other like minded people connected to the various radical groups founded/funded by Soros.
Where else can you find so many Mao, Chavez, and Zelaya supporters in one building?
This socialist utopia is the radical left's agenda but I don't believe all Democratic voters and all liberal thinking people see the destruction of the Constitution and the economy as the way to make things better.  After all, it could backfire on any one of them, too, at any moment.  Even Obama, as god-like as he is, can't promise every Democrat that they'll always have their job, everyone will be happy, the government will take care of everyone's problems, there won't be any wars, the air will always be pristine, children won't go hungry.....it isn't reality.  Did it work under Mao?  Are Venezuela and Honduras utopias?
But who doesn't want that?  Who doesn't want world peace, an end to hunger and homelessness and crime?

‘It is, in a way, the culminating point of my life’s work'’.
Quote from Soros on the economic crises in America.
