Have you or will you go solo dining?
Imagine yourself sitting at a corner of a restaurant enjoying your juicy succulent fillet steak...alone!
I've tried that once and it doesn't hurt at all. There's nothing to be embarassed about. Anyway, it's my business to go solo dining. I like the food there and I choose not to take anyone with me to eat at that restaurant.
In any posh restaurant, the waiter would ask "Table for two, three, ....?"
Then, imagine me telling the waiter "No, just one".
And the waiter would stare at me for a second before ushering me to the.....corner of the restaurant and the darkest spot of all.
Now, why would waiters discriminate solo diners? We are already alone and yet they make us look so gloomy and dark by placing us in the most isolated corner. Nevertheless, I'm able to enjoy my meal in solitude.
I like solo dining because I can enjoy my food to the fullest without any interruptions from any conversations. I will usually lose my appetite if I engaged in a conversation while having my meal.
Have you experienced any discrimination while you dine solo? Or in the first place, would you dare to go solo dining?
