So the Democrats have come out with another train-wreck of a bill to reform the health-care system.  Of course I start off in the negative because the bill is 1,990 pages long!  What the hell is wrong with these people?  Our health-care system doesn't work well for everyone and it cost too much.  Why is that so complicated?

The story from the Wall Street Journal in the link states this bill would require people to buy health insurance.  Require people to buy health insurance?  Is it our governments job to force people into something they don't want?

What is the deal?  Instead of just deal with the actual problems in our health-care system we create another fat bureaucracy that is just going to hurt other businesses.  Shouldn't we help insurance companies better serve us instead of punishing them?  Tort reform would be a massive step to reforming the health-care industry and we still don't have tort reform.  This is healthcare reform people not rocket science.
