Halloween is Phil's favorite holiday.  FAVORITE!  He is a die hard halloween fan.  He gets all dressed up and decorates and scares the crap out of all the neighborhood kids, pulls pranks and raises hell after the sun sets.  He loves it.

I like Halloween alright, its not my favorite holiday, but I like it.

So Phil is really in down in the dumps about us being flat broke so I want him to have a wonderful Halloween.  I was poking him about what we were going to be and what candy to get and whats bars we would go to.  I was expecting some enthusiasm...His reaction:  "Whats the point now?  Its a few days away and we dont have any money for costumes or candy or the bar"...Something about the way he says things makes me feel guilty.  Like its my fault we are broke.  I know he doesnt mean to make me feel like that.  But I do.

So I was trying to think of how I can make his Halloween fantastic...pretty much the only way was to take a pay advance.  I borrowed $150.00 against our business so that I could put together some costumes, buy candy and take him to the bar to get good and shnockered.

It was definitly foolish of me to do, but sweet right?  So Phil's been asking why ive been putting more hours in than usual.  I dont really answer I just say "What? You hate watching Remington that much?".  He says "No of course not".  I continue to work and he shuts up and plays with our baby.  Hehehehe...

Ill put a smile on his face if it kills me.

Well, as long as it's within your means (that includes time wise, as well as financially), then I don't see a whole lot of harm in it.  Although just be careful not to get too far into the habit of taking out payday advances or things like that.  My SIL fell into that habit and they've constantly got people after them, people looking to repo vehicles, etc.  I know you're a hell of a lot smarter than that, but I wouldn't feel right if I didn't say something, ya know?  I hope that Phil is able to enjoy the hell out of this Halloween for all the effort you're putting in.  It is a very sweet gesture, can't say that I know every single person would bust their rump, put in extra time, etc. for Halloween, even if it was somebody's favorite holiday.

That was sweet. That sort of explains why my wife acts the way she does. Heck, I would have gladly settled for turning off all of the lights and cuddling up to her enormous rack on Halloween night, but I guess $150 and gratuitous amounts of alcohol with perhaps a flashy costume would be enjoyable, too. I may have to throw a suggestion or two her way... Oh, wait. She works a 24-hour shift on October 31st.

    Whah!

What is the cure for a loss of appetite? Recently, I cannot seem to eat much food, nor do I have the desire to eat. I am not sure why exactly, but I have experienced this in the past and have no idea how I got back to eating....
A few things I'm struggling with....
