On a previous post I was saying that I had the same feeling about words, but didn't come up with a good example.
Well, here's one!
Function.
I keep hearing the "Funk" part.
I am in a "funkshun."
I am having trouble here in my new "home state" because I can't funkin' "function."
There is so much I want to do, need to do, want to do....but I have been having trouble trying to just get through day to day and just "funkshun."
Nothing is working yet, but I keep hoping that it will, if I work hard enough--at my plans, my dreams, my writing, my intentions to not die having never "functioned" where I lived out the rest of my days.
I'll keep working on it......in English.
If that doesn't work, I'll work on learning it in Chinese, Dutch, or Pygmy...........but I ain't giving up yet.
One day I will be able to say I funkin' functioned and did something funkin' worthwhile.
If not, at least I tried.
