11.14 am

felt fullfilled :) and accomplished before it was even 8 am!

- was able to spend quality time with P♥  before he went to work (it was 2.30 - 3.30 am because his work started at 5.30!)

- had prepared healthy breakfast for everyone to take (including for myself to eat home! <<< have been an idea before, that i never get to apply, to prepare it the night before)

- had set the table for breakfast the night before, which contributed to having a great start in the day (one underestimate the power of a set table in the morning, LOL)...

- had sent off cheery girls to their first day at school after a week´s break (must note how awfully grateful I am for the school bus that the municipality has provided, and extra hurrah for the warmest personality of the school bus driver M♥, she is awesome!)

- was greeted with a Good Morning smile by the Tator as she woke up...

- received Piet calls from work twice already (my power ups during the day!)

I could go on, and on :) , Monday bring it on!

*** I posted the above 8 am in FB... now, I have to go and nap with the Tator because Monday morning will end in a sour note, if I don´t, lol

Sounds like a downright lovely morning, totally opposite of mine too, lol.  There was no healthy breakfast or things laid out and ready for me when I got up.  So I'm gonna borrow a little of your good cheer, all right?  :-)  Hope your day continues to go wonderfully!

Very good monday morning!  it's the little things that sidetrack a good morning, so setting the table is a great idea.

I tell you, I mother everyone around me, Heggies♥ lol it is a compulsion (and I am so happy *tapping own shoulder*, that I am consistenly - slowly but consistently mothering myself as well!!!) !  I wish I can do the same for you because you so totally deserve it (((huggies)))

I can´t tell you how proud I was of myself, uni♥ !  Specially since I did not consciously plan it, but only this feeling of wanting to have lesser stress in life over-all.  It is not enough to know it will help, I think before you can do the most simplest things, one has to suffer a lot, lol before one could put into effect what will help lighten the stress of a day (of life!lol) - I don´t know if that makes sense.  Maybe in other posts in the future I will be able to articulate it better. :)

I must admit, one reason I was rebelling silently to doing it - such a simple action, are the memories connected to it.  I could be so complicated sometimes with such simple stuff, and very focused & decisive in the most complicated issues.

I get the whole "I think before you can do the most simplest things, one has to suffer a lot" theory.  It took me years of making a bed before I submitted to the joys of comforter and fitted sheet freedom.
  • PAPERBACKWRITER said on Oct 26, 2009....

Oh, uni, your comment is encouraging me to just go for it, and make a series of posts, as a sort of reinforcement to a personal project because I really need all the help I can get in the department do the routine, and gain the reward later... you know, how routine can kill the soul! lol   Blogging seems to lend a sheen of flamboyant to any routine when presented artfully :D

Could you explain to me how it helped you, the comforter and the fitted sheet?  Sometimes I get the American vocabulary by reading from context.. but I would really like to understand.  Specially since P and I are in this zone of making our small abode functional, comfy but also elegant at the same time... could use all tips I can get!  I think we already have fitted sheets (guessing here) and a comforter.. is it a sort of quilt?

  • uniquely-ironic said on Oct 26, 2009....
Oh, I forget that's an American word.  Ummmm, in Australia they call it a Duna?  It's a fluffy blanket that is similar to a feather bed, but not as warm usually.  They usually come in white and then you buy an envelope type cloth covering with print on it.  If you look back at my posts you'll see my black and white print comforter.  So basically I put on the fitted sheet and sleep directly under the comforter, no top sheet.  Growing up we had fitted and top sheets with blankets, followed by a bed cover of some sort and it all had to be tucked and folded to oblivion to make it look presentable.  This is easy, you just pull the comforter up after you get up and smooth it a little.

Hey Papergirl! I love the "power ups"!!!! (I'm going to sheepishly tell you that I've played enough video games to know that term!) I mean, I truly love that thought train...we all need little power ups to get us through the day! I couldn't conquer the scary dragon without them so what makes me think I can conquer the scary customers without them? lol...I'm just getting goofity now! Look at you, made me all goofity :)

unilicious ♥ you know, i never really looked up the word comforter because sometimes i just want to be left with the my own idea of what it is, lol until i really need to know, you know? i always pictured schroeder from peanuts with a comforter rather than his almost tattered blanket!

comforter, is called Steppdecke in German, and it is only in Germany that i learned about it because we never needed comforters while i was growing up in the Philippines! hihihi

fraggylicious ♥ i will look for a youtube for you in a minute!

hihihi, you know it is 90 % sure that we are going to ireland for christmas, and what is making me more excited than seeing him again, meeting his family, and  the green of this land  are my brothers gadgets.. xbox, his nintendos, psp, wii, hahahaha

watch out for a blog entitled `the games i play...´ tackling my addiction to games!

soooooooooooooo nice reconnecting with you.. wish you have the time to hang out in our other world too! but i will be more visible here :) , my paper home doors wide open again :) curtains drawn, whoop! whoop!

from one video gamer to another! :)

    (((huggies♥  fraggy ♥huggies)))

    You be my princess
    And I'll be your toad
    I'll follow behind you
    On rainbow road
    Protect you from red shells
    Wherever we go
    I promise.

    No one will touch us
If we pick up a star
    And if you spin out
You can ride in my car
    When we slide together
    We generate sparks
In our wheels and our hearts

    The finish line
    Is just around the bend
    I'll pause this game
So our love will never end
    Let's go again

    The blue shell is coming
    So I'll go ahead
    If you hang behind
    It'll hit me instead
    But never look back
Cause I'm down but not dead
    I'll catch up to you

    Don't worry about
    Bowser or DK
    Just eat this glowing mushroom
    And they'll all fade away

    The finish line
    Is just around the bend
    I'll pause this game
So our love will never end
    Let's go again

    The finish line
    Is just around the bend
    I'll pause this game
So our love will never end
    Let's go again

    To the mushroom cup
    And the flower cup
    And the star cup
    And the reverse cup

    Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, LovelyWanderer♥!!!!!!!

I have to catch up on our other world to!  I have mostly used it as my diary, and my visits to friends have been reduced because life with the girls are getting steadily busier as well.

Plus, I found my marbles again, hahahaha, (reference to Robin William´s film `Hook´)... joking aside, I feel positive flow at the moment so, I am writing, writing :) and writing!

I´ve been meaning to drop you a note to explain my slacking on the stalker mode on your page, hahaha and my thoughts on you brought you here, how cool is that! I dare say, when will these kind of thoughts bring lottery winnings! LOL

    oops phone!

  • PAPERBACKWRITER said on Oct 27, 2009....

    that was beloved P♥...

I am writing it down here because I might not be able to write it later...

Thaaaaaaaaaaaaaaank you for the positive energy you have given me (even if you are totally unaware of it!lol) all throughout late Spring through the Summer. :)  Just being sort of a part of the changes of your life from the distance made me feel so good. :)  It brought back so many good memories of the time I had all those changes happening in my life too.

I treasure your friendship, Lovely! (you know this is the nickname of my bestfriend, who I used to work with in the theater, during college! sadly through all the travels - pre-email life!  - we lost touch... but I am trying to find her through our other world!)

    *muaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah*

smiling back at you, queenie ♥ :)

yes, it feels good to be at this place, Lovely ♥! I won´t hesitate anymore to say, I am happy, when I feel it - all encompassing. :) (((huggies)))

hahahaha, I will post an update in FB if I ever do! Maybe it will start world peace, if everyone has the same riches! lol

I love how our friendship develped, so natural... I hope it will continue to blossom, even if we only have this medium for now... it is after all how P ♥ found each other serendipitously! :)

I am soooo hoping to find Lovely from the theater too through the internet or a place we have common connection with (we have after all the same taste and interest, which brought us together...although we both have changed some things will remain the same!) . I reconnected with college friends, who worked with me in theater that know her too, so I am hoping the chances of that happening is bigger now!

    *muaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah*

Keep enjoying the stage of life you are in now, dearest friend! :)
