  I'm back to this.....I've never understood the difference between medicine and doing drugs in the first place.  It confused me in the third grade when I first heard that some people "took medicine" when they didn't need it "to feel good."

  Now it seems that pot is in that category of being "between medicine and doing drugs."

  I used to indulge, haven't lately (shut up quietone, if you remember my shed experience) but I do think I would rather take a hit or two than chuck down some pills that belong to Joe Blow, or sniff a can of bug spray or just take something because someone said, "Hey, try this!"

  I am surprised at that list you wrote out.  I qualifiy on all counts, and probably some of the ones you didn't mention.

  Should marijuana be legalized?  Don't know, but I do believe there's a reason it hasn't been.  Remember prohibition?

  We should all be able to kill ourselves/feel good with any means available....ha.

  But I still ain't gonna snort no Clorox or lighter fluid.

  Unless it helps me with chemo.

  Twenty!  BAH!  Nicotine should be illegal?  Grrr...So much is wrong with that.  Should fried food be illegal too?  Should we be jailed for not excersizing 4 times a week?  Soooo many things kill people, I dont know why everyone attacks cigarettes. 
   
  Back to the topic.  Marijuana should be legal, and not taxed unless its sold, then it should be taxed like food.  In my perfect world Marijuana would be no different than growing carrots in my backyard.

  if the government legalized marijuana, we'd probably be able to get our country out of debt within like, 10 years. not to mention there wouldnt be so many people in jail. its a natural weed that grows, so i dont think theres any harm in it. plus, it really does help with pain. i was in a car accident 3 1/2 years ago, and it messed my back up pretty bad. i was 16, and the doctors wouldnt give me any pain medication bc they were afraid id be retarded and get myself addicted. im 20 now, and they still wont give me anything. its excrutiating pain, every single day. so yes, i smoke weed because it helps.

  Marijuana can never be understood, which is why it is so widely loved. Researches by rehabilitation centres show that marijuana can be addictive and can also be used occasionally. There are apparently over 4000 different types of natural chemicals found within a leaf of a Ganja plant (or so they say) which affect the brain in such a way that it causes a high more profound and much quicker than any other drug experience (if you hold it in, you know what I mean. If you smoke it like a normal cigarette, fuck off... pansy). I wouldn't know for sure 'cause I don't have the tools to make a scientific research, but if anyone does, I suggest you try and find out whether it's true or not. I won't say weed destroys brain cells, but it does hamper the brain's ability to make enough cells (if smoked excessively).
  
  I've seen many a ganja addict in my day. And trust me, if you become dependent on the drug, that is to say you smoke over 20 joints a day, the results could be disastrous for your brain.
  
  So be smart... smoke wisely... blaze occasionally.

  I'm not asking anyone to stop using. I mean, shit, if you're sick and other medication doesn't seem to work or makes you feel worse, go ahead and fill your lungs with that shit.
  
  I'm just trying to make people aware about the side-effects of weed addiction. I've gotten loads of responses. Like, "Dude... no way man, weed ain't addictive for shit man... dude... guy". But I've seen addicts first-hand and the outcome of smoking way too much isn't pretty.
  
  I don't care about brain-cells either, but if a person's going through a serious illness, they should think before overdoing the whole "marijuana relieves my pain so I should smoke more and more and more" thing. It's one thing to use it to get a little relief, but using that pain as an excuse to use constantly (I say again, 15-20 joints a day), you need to suffer the consequences.
  
  There's a difference between using and abusing. That's all I'm trying to get at.
