Well it's time for an update.
Last weekend was almost cancelled. I had arranged to go horseriding with hot vet again and Princess was to come along as well. Mother nature and a few fucktard arsonists put pay to that, with what ended up being a week of bush fires. Also hot vet was going to be working. She was heading down to a wildlife sanctuary, to help treat some animals that had been bought in with burns.
So Princess and I settled in for the day. It was starting to rain ash outside and the smell of smoke was constant.
Sunday and Princess was getting stir crazy being stuck in the house. We headed out. While out I got a call from hot vet. We organised a late lunch. I have never introduced Princess to anyone I have dated before. I headed to the little cafe. Princess was wild with excitement. I had bought her a new dress the week before and she was wearing it out. We met Hot Vet outside. I introduced Princess to Hot Vet. We sat down and the questions started. Princess is never afraid to ask questions. how? who? what? where? when? Only when she was infromed about what hot vet did for a living did Princess finally shut up.
"An animal doctor? Do animals need doctors too?"
Hot Vet then had to listen to Princesses tale of been biten by a nasty dog, how she saw a person doctor, and how the dog went to see an animal doctor and never came back. Princess really warmed to her. As we finished our meal hot vet sealed the deal. She took us to her surgery and gave Princess the tour. I had to drag Princess out kicking and screaming. As we said our good byes I gave Hot Vet a kiss on the cheek. This bought tears of laughter to princesses face.
"Kiss her properly Daddy" [look of frustration on face] "Kiss her on da lips" [shakes head and rolls eyes]
"Why should I kiss her on the lips?"
"She's your girlfriend"
"Why do you think that?"
"Whateva !!!" [turns to hot vet]
"You want a proper kiss?"
"Yes"
[Princess leans towards Hot Vet and gives her a peck on the lips]
"There you go, dats proper kiss....I have to show you everything......" [wanders to the car murmuring to herself]
Yep as true as I sit here typing this, thats what happened. Now when Hot Vet calls I have to hand the phone over to princess. I can't go anywhere near the surgery, because princess thinks we have an open invitation to walk in whenever.
It's early days, I have to keep telling myself this, I'm trying to keep my feet on the ground. However I have not felt this good in, god alone knows how long.
So far so good.
