Hi Strange....I prefer the back of hands on knee and middle finger and thumb in a circle. Your head position is wrong. Imagine a rope attached to the top of your head puling up that will stretch your neck and tuck your jaw in a little :) Just a little more zen wisdom :) Thanks for popping in

Mr - both your heels should be resting on top of your legs as well.  But ... being individual, your pose may be the path of least resistance for your energy.

Bhalah....You just hang in there girl.  Life can throw some strange things at you and it can all seem to much sometimes. All you can do is smile and do the best you can for you and your little girl. I don't know enough about you and what your going through to comment further. PM me if you like.
    I know you'll get through this :)

Mr Strange....Glad you liked. It comes from chi kung originally. It's about opening up the meridians, allowing the chi to flow freely.  Chi kung is also done standing. Sometimes still and sometimes moving. I've been meaning to post about it for ages. I seem to get stuck on the how to get it across in writing part. :)

a friend was telling me about

Ak Ki Do > the way to harmony

lots of great info just floating around in peoples heads.
  • superbozo said on Oct 28, 2009....
Do you mean Ai Ki Do.....I have read a little about it but have never really studied. Steven Segal is a high ranking Ai Ki Do ist.

Ki in Japenese is the same as Chi in Chinese. Depending on who does the translation it means energy or breath. Both systems are considered internal systems in the Martial Arts world.

I can say my information comes second hand,
though the women I was talking to,
    was clear on the meaning.

I can ask one of my mom's, she knows Japanese along with a bunch of other languages.

She'll give me the exact detail.

    Mr. Super

you are always one with the details and questions...

    lol

I was there, I still ask a lot of questions meaning is more relevant in terms of how the person I am talking to see's it rather then how someone else other then the person I'm talking to defines it.

We all have our own way,
What does it mean to you?
  • superbozo said on Oct 28, 2009....
