Dear Allies of GLEE, (Gays, Lesbians, and Everyone Else)

To all of you who stand up and fight, not just for yourself, but for others.
Not only our friends and those who help out, but our lovers, brothers, and mothers.
We thank you all for being there for us, and taking the pledge to step in.
There are so many things to say thanks to, I'll begin, where I've been, with a grin.

We thank you all for truly believing, that everyone should feel supported and safe.
Too often are people held captive, for they otherwise feel, may come a strafe.
We thank you, for when others are being harassed, taking initiative to intervene.
Lets gather together and stop anti-GLEE slurs, language, and actions obscene.

One should help one another, regardless of sexual orientation or gender expression.
For I believe that it is no longer a question,
Even now in this time of recession,
That anyone in any profession,
Should take this type of aggression.
No one should accept a concession,
or a path that may lead to depression,
If all people with proper discretion,
would help end all this oppression.
There is still need to have a closed session,
And some allies will come for confession,
For the time being we have a precession,
to collect numbers and stop all suppression.
Soon we may have an accession,
to log our current progression,
taking small steps in succession,
We will have a true transgression.

Thank you all once again for the energy, your endless support and expressions of love.
Thank you all for being there to talk to, lending an ear and all the above.
Thank you all for the belief in fair rights, not just for us but for everyone.
I want to give one final THANK YOU! For EVERYTHING you all have done.
