While I've pretty much given up trying to explain the middle east and Israel's problems of living in this tough neighborhood on SoulCast, I decided to give a link to an article that says --if not all--but the gist of what is happening:

It quotes the article in the NY Times which I'm sure you can find yourselves if you want to bother or don't believe Israeli newspapers.

Israel stands on its head not to hurt others--non-Jews, even while they constantly target us and especially civilians among us --while it has a leftist orientation and goes after religious Jews!! who love the Land of Israel and its Commandments more than their own lives. These Jews are the real pioneers who are defamed daily by the leftist press and by the rightists outside of Israel. They are called 'settlers' as if this was a bad word while G-d Himself called Jews to 'settle' the Land of Israel--their reward will be so great and the punishment of those against them will not be fun, and all this will be coming up soon in the headlines as the End of Days progresses.

In our later prophesies, there are many scenarios which show the whole world being against Israel in the End of Days and then the shit will hit the fan for our enemies. The Chofetz Chaim, a righteous man who lived in the beginning of the twentieth century said that WWIII would take only 3 hours and would devastate vast tracts of the earth--I believe he saw this before the atom bomb was invented, but I am not sure.
< br> Other prophesies state that G-d will bring back all the tyrants who warred against ancient Israel or the Jewish people in the Diaspora and would take them down one by one. Saddam Huisein was a reincarnation of Nebuchadnezer. He knew this himself and talked about being the new Nebuchadnezer and rebuilding Babylon and he even had a light show comparing his image to that of Nebuchadnezer of Biblical fame. The original Nebuchadnezer was punished by going crazy and eating grass to stay alive. This copy of the original who made such trouble in the 20th century was hanged. (By the way, if you take out a map of the region, you can see that the Israeli general who said that the weapons of mass destruction were taken into Syria--had to be correct. There are two major highways out of Iraq--guess where they go?

The jerk of Iran, Achimajad, seems to be the reincarnation of Hayman. He seems to be "the man in the turban" mentioned in Nostra Damus as being the bane of Europe. The Iranians have submarines equipped with long range missles. Not only Israel is in the sights of this crazy one. If he was Haman he was hanged the last time--see the Book of Esther. When it comes around again 'on the guitar' there are some mind blowing things in that Book of Esther. Esther in Hebrew comes from the root of 'hidden' and the Book of Esther is a book of many hidden mysteries which may become clear in our times.

Anyway, the gist of this is --that what is happening on the surface is often the opposite of the truth. The truth is out there but you have to want to look for it. This is true in politics and in sciene and in medicine and in history. The Hebrew for world is Olam and Olam comes from the root of 'hidden' or concealed.
