Did you see it?  It was horrible -- a tarantula of gargantuan proportions!

Its eight horrible ugly legs scurrying across the bathroom floor, too fast for me to squish it.

Eeeek!

Good thing B was home -- But the cat saw it first and of course tried to play with it.  Disgusting!

My heart is still pounding -- B squished it and then tried to feed it to the cat!  [shudder]

Good thing the cat has more discerning taste than to eat a smushed spider.

I'm traumatized!  I don't want to go in the bathroom!  I have to pee!!  Augghhhhhh!

I'd insist on buying a new home now.  But I do admire kitty for keeping the bug busy until B got there to smush it.

LOL I had a seven foot carpet python in my bedroom the other night ~ she was so placid when we lifted her onto the end of a golf iron and helped her outside - you wanna come use my bathroom????

    ((evil grin))

i saw this and almost didn't come on in....lol... spiders are my greatest fear. i've gotten better in my older years, at least i don't run the other way!

Spiders don't freak me out. Startle me at times but not really scare me. Now Lucy, a seven foot python might do it!!!

Poor Ms. Mimi - I would have definitely peed if I saw a spider in the bathroom, but I doubt I would have made it to the toilet.  My cat loves spiders, but she squishes them herself after she's had her fun.

I've gotta tell you, I'm not that afraid of spiders, but my kids are! My son wouldn't eat breakfast today because he saw a big spider run behind the fridge.  I offered to get the milk out for him...his reply? "No mom, that spider ruined my appetite" What a pansy ;)

We do not have large insects here, not many that I have come across.

Giant water beetles are the biggest thing, there are some large
spiders. when I worked with animal control we would get calls
about them, there not poisonous there just large...people would
freak out, not putting in for a second that there shoes are
    larger then the spider.

You could always pee in the kitchen sink...just as a
suggestion...technically the water all goes to the same spot.

    Don't forget to rinse.

    lol

Mimi.....read....we have one girl at the office who is absolutely, insanely scared of spiders.....like you.

We have another girl who loves Halloween and pranks...

So....this morning girl #2 put a fake black spider in a bottle of water and told me to put it on girl #1 desk....
But we needed a distraction.....so other 3 people started to talk to her, asking questions and stuff while i was sneaking from her back and put the bottle on her desk.

Then we went back to our work.

Not even after 5 minutes we heard her screaming "NO, EEEEEWWWW"

She jumped off her chair and looked around to catch the first one who would have laughed...
We did great ....no one laughed, we just turned toward her with puzzled or annoyed looks asking what was wrong with her...

She went nuts.....more because she couldn't figure out who did the prank than for the spider itself...LOL...

    I know...i am bad....;-p.
Btw, its a kind of spider that grows in the water.....lol...
