  Well, is it love, is it infatuation, or is it familiarity?  Each of them can blur into feeling the same, so it's hard.  I suppose if you put enough time into thinking of that person in that position, well then yes you can convince yourself you feel almost anything, but after a while that facade goes away in your mind and then where are you?  I hope that it is real love and that it'll make you happy though.  :-)

  Yeah I think you can really trick yourself into loving someone. But make sure your blinders aren't on and don't make excuses for them. What you see is what you get and if you don't like it nor can you handel it then be honest with yourself and them or you end up like me married to someone who you tolerate but can only partially stand 1/2 the time.

  A lot of emotions, especially when infatuation is concerned can masquerade as love. But once we come down from the high of the "honeymoon" period, when we take those blinders off, no matter how much we can lie to ourselves, if we are not in love with the person but with the idea of love, the nagging feeling that the person is not quiet right doesn't go away.
  
  On the other hand, just because we love somebody doesn't mean they are right for us.

  i think its possible, but i dont think youd ever be "in" love. i really like the way cntlmenuf put it, how youre not in love with the person, but rather in love with the idea of love.
