It was nearing 4 decades after taking their vows, when things started falling apart.
The connection they once had before, was no longer there between them.
After 37 years of marriage, she no longer made dinner for her husband.
Even if she did, she knew that he would not come home to eat it.
After 446 months of marriage, she no longer cleaned up after her husband.
For she knew there was nothing of his to clean, that he wanted her to clean.
After 1975 weeks of marriage, she stopped sleeping in the same bed with her husband.
She knew his bed was elsewhere, in a place he did not want her to be.
After 13,827 days of marriage, she stopped waiting for her husband at all.
She knew not to ask him to do anything with her, because he wouldn't have the time.
After 331,852 hours of marriage, she stopped talking to her husband.
No matter what she said to him, he would not respond back to her.
After 19,911,141 minutes of marriage, she stopped seeing her husband.
He would no longer come to their house, she would be lonely every night.
Because after 1,194,668,463 blissful, wonderful, teary-eyed, happy, perfect seconds of marriage.
Her husband had gone to stand beside the angels of heaven and wait for her there.
During all of their marriage, never was there a moment not honored or cherished.
Both know they will be reunited, and after 2 life times of marriage, their vows were still kept.

I did not think one could cry reading their own writing.
I was wrong.
