Since I reopened my business a few weeks ago, I am looking for various ways to market my services.
I was told that one of the methods I must begin to embrace is Social media for business. I have had a Twitter page since the service opened, a Facebook page since 2007, and a my-space page I never go to. But I knew it was something that I needed to do on a regular basis.
So, two days ago, I began to tweet. Twitter is FREAKIN addicting. I installed a program on my desktop which alerts me when people I am following post a tweet. Since then, I have "attended" two really educational "Twitter for Business" seminars, and have been tweeting every hour on the hour.
Oy - I hope this work will begin to pay off in the next 30 days. We shall see....
