The page you were looking for no longer exists

Normally when a new person puts me on block I laugh.  I make sure I make a post so that anybody who cares know that yet another weakminded imbecile has chosen to surrender instead of fight me.  It is usually the start of a very short career on Soulcast.  I think the only Soulcaster to have blocked me and lasted more than six months from that date is Sheltercrow and honestly Shelter lasted that long because she doesn't know nobody cares what she thinks.

This however isn't a eulogy.  Not yet.  This instead i public service announcement.  Many people who do not spend a lot of time on the internet writing stories, blogs and other forms of communcation do not understand some basic rules of ettiquite that are applied to the internet.  Things like please DON'T TYPE IN ALL CAPS.  It is considered shouting and it's also just annoying.  You're spelling need not be perfect but please put some effort into it.  This isn't 1993 and these aren't pagers.  We don't need to find a way to get our message across in eight digits or less so please stop trying.

Another rule that anybody who's been at it for a while can tell you is to skip lines between your paragraphs.  Something about the way a screen flickers makes it difficult for most human eyes to follow text on a screen for a prolonged period of time.  If you didn't pass english and don't know when and where you should be skipping lines just count five to seven lines and skip a line arbitrarily.  It'll probably work anyway.  It makes it easier to read and will increase your readership.

If someone comes along and tells you that you need to break something into paragraphs for ease of reading don't pull a GANK and block them for trying to help you out.  That is all.

Somebody blocked you?     gasp.         How did that happen?

I don't understand why anyone would go to a blogging place expecting a discussion over any topic and then get all bent out of shape when things don't go their way.

    Takes all kinds I guess.

Who would block you?  You're very interesting and knowledgeable.  I don't get blocking unless it's an alt or a spammer.  And I agree with you 100% about formatting a post.  As soon as I see one long paragraph with no breaks I move on to another page.  I'll go one further; double spacing between sentences makes for easier reading, too.
Sheltercrow is female?  I had no idea.

I click on sheltercrow regularly because she brings in some good reading I'm interested in. She and bloc are the only two liberal thinkers I can think of at the moment that comment on a regular basis amidst the right wingers.

I generally leave one comment on political blogs and don't fight, but refuse to believe it's weak mindedness. I've noticed a continuation can easily turn into bad blood on this site. Most of the time it ends having been unproductive and pretty much a useless endeavor. It is not a useless endeavor with such people as truthsayer and kruuyai, for examples.

I agree with you on the paragraphs and an attempt at good spelling.

    you are surprised?

The all caps were bad enough, but the lack of paragraphs rendered the post unreadable.  Not that I was going to waste five minutes of my life reading rambling racist douchebaggery. . .

Oh, and I didn't know sheltercrow was female, either.

I simple cannot read one elongated sentance, and that is exactly what those kinds of posts look like.

Reminds me of listening to someone with verbal dihorea (spl?) who doesn't take a breath - cue remote control in head, push red OFF button.
