Our Salvation is described in the word of God as Eternal. It is eternal and not based on conditions
John 3;16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Our salvation is based on full assurance
Works accompany salvation or in other words are the fruit that proceeds forth from a saved person BUT IS NOT A PREQUISIT FOR SALVATION OR TO KEEP YOUR SALVATION!!
Hebrews 6:9-15
But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.
For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
Colosians 2:2
That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ
This mystery is Salvation!!!
Salvation has strong consolation.God made an oath and he cannot lie! His promise is like an anchor that digs deep and cannot be removed for those who flee to him for refuge and lay hold of his hope.
