It has been fouth day today for Muslims in my country go on fasting. Yup. Its the month of Ramadhan. We will be fasting for approximately 29 days. It's the first year for my eldest son. He's six years old this year. Nobody is pushing and he did it on his freewill. The fact that he didn't eat much on his sahur, but he is so energetic throughout the day. He wouldn't take a nap. Just lie down to watch his favourite cartoon and then he went out again to play. Little bit pity to my eldest daughter. She had to go to school. Twice a day. She has her Islamic classes in the morning and finished at about 10.00am. Her afternoon class starts at 2.00pm till 5.30pm This is the National Primary School. Luckily, thanks to God, she managed to complete her 2 full day. Yesterday, she had a stomach upset. So she drink a little bit.
Suprised by their eagerness and effort to take up the challenge, I'll call them everyday. Just to find out what do they wish to have for breaking fast. Today is the fifth day, I haven't see any sign of quitting. Their eyes were sparkling this morning. They went to school and having fuan as usual despite fasting. Well that's the beauty of Ramadhan. No one knows. Miracles just happen. You will enjoy and savour every minutes of it if you do it willingly. It will turn to be a disaster and torturing, if you are asked and forced to do.
