I'm not going to quote the Bible here, I've done that enough in the last few weeks and there is no need for me to continue on that path. Instead I'm going to ask you all a very simple question. How do you defend a God who has tried to kill us before? The Flood, the Tower of Babel, Sodom and Gomorah, the Isrealites being sold into slavery, the Isrealites being conquered time and time again until the Romans. Each time because they weren't following orders. Because they were being denied the inalienable right (some would say) of self-determination.
If you read Revelations it is just one last step on that same road. Nothing else has worked to get mankind in check. So one final attempt is made to bring us into his "love". A genocidal Armegedon that includes wars, floods, famines, pestilance, earthquakes, and comets to name a few. Two individuals rise up above the rest to fight back against the mass slaughter of humanity. The Morning Star, Lucifer, the Devil the being we've been trained to help.
The other is the Anti-Christ. According to Revelations the Anti-Christ will bring peace to the Middle East, unite humanity. A mark will be given to everybody who isn't siding with a genocidal god. It sounds like a neccessary move in a world where possibly billions are against us.
My point is simple if you aren't a Christian and Revelations turned out to be true wouldn't the Anti-Christ be a hero of sorts?
