I've always intended for this blog to be an annual one and it's never quite worked out that way.  I forget, my computer goes down, I'm tired of Soulcast.  I have my excuses, same as everybody I recon.  I'm going to start by explaining who I am because not everybody has known me for three years.

I'm Sean Renaud.  I'm an African American, I served four years in the United States Marine Corps and I love my Corps like any other Devil Dog.  I'm as true a gamer as you'll meet.  I remember when Metal Gear was an 8 bit game with and overhead view.  I remember wondering how many times you could release Street Fighter 2 before you had to give us 3.  (and now more than ten years later we've barely gotten 4).  I play Dungeons and Dragons and right fantasy stories.

I suck at being in love because I have a hard time loving just the one woman.  It seems absurd to me, just like having just one friend seems absurd to me.  Maybe I've never met the perfect person but I don't really belive in a perfect person.  Take Soulcast for example.  If I were to ask someone for advice I'd ask bloc.  I trust that man more than I can express.  Even when we disagree I trust him to be honest.  Now if I wanted someone to go for a beer I'm taking ALIENated.  I trust him not to slip me a roofie (mostly cus we're both guys) but that's all I need to sit and drink with and make all the racist jokes that come with military service.

I'm an atheist and honestly I have a hard time understanding why anybody isn't.  It's a sore point for me because so many people have decided to stick with the false philosphy that what other people believe doesn't effect me.  That would be true if we lived in a dictatorship.  We don't, we live in a democracy (or something like it cus some fuckhead is going to tell me about Democratic Republics and then I'm going to delete them for being contrary assholes).  The point is that several million people voting to keep one thing or another from happening because Space Ghost told them to actually does effect me.

I'm a Democrat, only techincally.  I tend to be liberal when it comes to social issues.  I'm for the legalization of most (if not all ) drugs.  I'm pro-gay marriage.  I'm pro-porn.  I'm pro-evolution.  I'm for unchallenged free speech.  I'm also a capitalist.  I strongly believe that America has to maintain a strong military because history is written by the strong.

I'm ending this with something I said a long time ago and haven't repeated since but it bears restating.

I judge each and every one of you.  I judge you on your words, on your actions and occasionally on your lack of action when I believe that a given situation bears your action.  I judge you because I am Sean Renaud and that gives me the privelege, right and duty to judge every single human being, living and dead, on whatever criteria I see fit.  The concept that we as humans are ill fit to bear judgement on each other is sickening.  Even if there is a Space Ghost (Coast to Coast) he clearly seems to stay out of day to day affairs.  If we don't judge and make decisions clearly nobody will.  We cannot affort to pretend like our opinions don't count.

I am not without sin.  I have made mistakes and done things I wish I had not done.  That doesn't mean I can't cast a stone.  When liars let theives pass without judgement or punishment theives wih.  When theives let murderers pass without judgement murderers win.

Of course you should judge me by whatever moral and ethical standards you hold.  Listen to mine as I listen to yours but beyond that judge.  To withold judgement is to surrender out greatest gift as rational beings.

Judge others as you would like to be judged, so sayeth the Lord.
See, I am a believer and I don't judge anybody because it is not my place to do so. But I can share opinions with others quite easily if we are discussing something that we are concerned about.
Life is too short to worry about everything, and judging people, so when you have some free time, why not talk about things that make you happy? You may get more response.

Everybody judges.  Even if they say they don't, they do.

What's more important is that they SHOULD judge.  If you're not judging there is something very wrong with you.  The concept that it's not your place to judge is destructive.
