So I've read several different blogs around here where play parties are mentioned. Daddy was intrigued with the idea so he asked if I could inquire about it. So I"m relying on all my fellow Casters for help.
 
We are interested in the idea, but want to know more about them. What is usually involved? How do you know when/where you can attend one?
 
Please feel free to share any information you have about either experiences at a play party, or where to find information about attending....or anything about it really...We are very curious...Thanks!!!!

    fetlife.com usually has listings of them, in your local area.
     
    they range- sometimes it's more like a 'swingers' party with a bit of kinky dress ups, sometimes it's a fully decked out dungeon that you go along to with your own toys and can use the facilities.
     
    there's a cover charge to get in at the door- our ones here are all under $30- but i've heard that it can range to over a hundred dollars depending on where you live and where you go. it's good to find out about the place you're intending to go to before you splash that much money. Maybe befriending people on fetlife who regularly attend, get to know them, and find out what the deal with the event is, if it's worth it, first. it'll help for your first visit too if you know people and can mix straightaway.
     
    each place will have its different rules on touching others/nudity/sexual play, sometimes no sexual contact is allowed, sometimes almost anything goes as long as it's SSC/RACK/ whatever guidelines they're using.
     
    it's a good idea to just go along to your first one without the intention of playing. Have a look around, see what everybody else is doing, see what the rules are and what's provided. Maybe you'll end up doing a scene, but that should be looked on as a bonus, not expected.
