Ugh. Today I realized that my posture is waaaaay worse than it usually is. On an average day I'm usually a pretty bad slumper, but this is ridiculous. I can't seem to sit or stand up straight with good posture for more than a few minutes at a time before my back starts killing me and I have to slump.
I think this is partly because I've stopped exercising -- during the first month, I was doing this strength/aerobic workout video but then my doctor told me I had to stop strenuous workouts until the second trimester. Apparently having your heart go up past 140 bpm is bad for oxygenating the fetus or something. I'm pretty sure that's a crock of shit, but I only decided that yesterday. So I've been reduced to walking around the neighborhood a few nights a week. I think the exercise was sort of warding off this aches and pains for a while, hopefully they'll go away again once I start it up again.
