With my clicking knee and possibly impending osteoarthritis, we are possibly on a similar, level playing field.
James was 100 pounds heavy and got it in his fool head to take martial arts classes. He was doing well too even though HIS knees were complaining. (The sensei started taking it easy on him when the medical problems began) so I'm pleased that the center he chose isn't dripping with machismo that would reduce him to a shambling pile of creaking bones.
Coinciding with his recovery is my recovery of my basement exercise equipment. I started using the weights again to include lifts and now curls. Now if I just get serious about it, I can get back to looking as good as a 43 year old can.
Short report this week. I'll bore you more next time.
