So I know I keep having to explain this over and over again, but they say that repetition is good for the soul. I recently explained on some thread out there in SoulCast how those who keep calling conservatives "racists" aren't calling us the worst thing that they could possibly call a person. Oh, no, wait, we found another rock layer, so let's dig a little deeper! No, folks, the worst thing that you can call a person is a "child molester" and here's why it's the worst thing that you can call a person :

If you call me a racist, I can site friends of another race.

If you call me a sexist, I can site friends of the opposite gender.

If you call me a gay-basher, I can site friends of a different sexual orientation.

If you call my dissent "hate speech," then I can site the fact that you are in fact against the first amendment, second amendment, and pretty much have never seriously read an amendment in your life with any great understanding or feeling of overwhelming honor or relevance.

If you call me a child molester, then there is nothing I can site, not even my own kids (if I had them, and worse if I don't have any) and thereby gain any credibility in doing so. In fact, I would simply have to rely on the fifth amendment, because otherwise I would simply incriminate myself by trying to defend myself in any way, shape or form. It's funny that even those pressing for "hate speech" legislation will never remove the fifth amendment... Unless of course it helps them to win a measly debate.

So, again it was brought up on another thread (Strange?) that I called bloc a child molester -- or as he says "accused [him] of a terrible crime." And again, I will point out that, no, in fact that isn't how it played out. You see, I've argued with liberals until I'm blue in the face before, but if there is anything I know how to do, it's how to turn off their water. In fact, it was a roll of the dice that this phantom accusation coincided with any member of SoulCast at all. What happened was I posted a picture of what appeared to be some young punk and beneath it wrote : "Hey, look what I found under a Google search for 'molests small children and puppies.'" Which at the time seemed really humorous to me, because I was taking shit on a thread that I posted over Obama being a Communist by a member of SoulCast who claimed to be a father of two, served in the military and all of these other [what I would usually consider to be] honorable qualifications, but had the picture I posted actually *be* that person, then there was a large discrepancy between the two, but I guess not, because suddenly I was being approached by the sysadmin of SoulCast to remove that comment from my thread. Uncensored blogging my ass... But I'm sure that there had to have been something I overlooked in the SoulCast Terms of Service somewhere, so I simply blocked bloc and went about my business.

Time goes by... Like a river flowing... And after taking pot shots at each other in quite a few other member's blogs here at SoulCast, suddenly like a social virus I find myself agreeing not just once, but TWICE IN A ROW with bloc on certain topics. So is it partisan politics that have repelled us in this polar manner the whole time? Well, perhaps if bloc would get off his whole "torture" schtick, I'd consider letting him take another whack at my blog... But then the more I got to think about it, that whole abuse of power item seemed to surface in my mind, too.

To be quite honest, I haven't locked horns with people so hard anywhere else but here at SoulCast. Even when I'm just not up for back-handing liberals and keep within the four walls of my own blog here, or escape to about eight or twelve that I usually find no friction in, I usually end up with a troll at the end of my lance before the day is out. In fact, it was getting so old that I had been contemplating moving on back to having my own stand-alone blog site. I used to post my thoughts (and no shit, the more I think about it, the stuff I do here is pretty tame -- reference my very first blog entry here at SoulCast to see what I mean) on a daily basis like a mental briefcase file, clearing my thoughts (positive and negative) from my mind. Much of the time I'd try to put a humorous or sarcastic spin on it -- if for no other reason than to simply amuse myself -- to keep me sane. I often use all sorts of wordsmith techniques, similes and double-entendres to express myself. I've always been pretty abstract that way, pretty much my whole life. My old blog site used to have links to other bloggers who have now become famous authors and such. My links also made money, with advertisements of course, but after a while I simply became too busy to consistently maintain my links and wanted to go back to the "fun" of blogging and not the work of it all.

So I'm curious as to any opinions or reasonings that you all have. Perhaps I'm overlooking the obvious, or I may just say "fuck it" and move on without resolving this topic. Some of you may think I'm just some big asshole for calling bloc a douche bag, but hey, he started it...
