Police in Barneveld arrested Mr. Hank Tankerson, long time fugitive from justice, early this morning after a week long manhunt and a stand off at the Sizzler Steakhouse
Mr. Tankerson was taken to the Herkimer County Correction Facility, where he will await his arraignment later this afternoon.
Mr. Tankerson has been accused of the very serious crime of beaver relocation.
When arrested, he was found with three beavers, a large crate filled with beaver treats, and a net.
The beavers are being held at a nearby veterinary correction facility on charges of aiding and abetting a Castor Canadensis felon.
