Everytime, I go somewhere or do something in public places, I get hit on. Not all the time, but a good amount of the time. Always within those times, they asked why am I single.
When men come to me with this, I am thinking about my appearance and sometimes I think about why would you ask that if I have someone. I always wonder if that's what men have to say to get a woman's attention, then they need to stop. It does not get the attention you think it does.
Sometimes, I simple hello and how are you doing, today is nice. That can take you further in knowing someone.
Every time I heard why am I single, it makes me wonder why??
More and more I thought about why and I came up with these reasons...

I like to do things without having to discuss why. Right now, I am in a area in my life where I don't want to discuss and explain why I do this or that unless you have known me for some time.

Being responsible for someone. In relationship, you have to care or put some type of responsibility for them. With having feeling for someone, you do take on some of their life and you care about them.

Not settling. I don't want to be like people that I have known or have came across in life of people who had children with someone and stay or feel that this is it. I know that I have the right in my life to have a good relationship with someone I want and need.
