Existence Beyond Death
The Premise:
If alternate realities are created by mass consciousness (a premise suggested by certain aspects of quantum theory), then we actually create our own afterlife.
Since mass consciousness has created several alternate realities, a variety of afterlife realms exist. You end up in the place you believe in the most.
The Problem:
You are forever separated from certain family and friends who did not share your beliefs.
The Solution:
Combine all the major religions of the world with scientific theory into one belief system.
In all major religions, spiritual immortality, the immortality of the soulspirit, means the unending existence of a person from a nonphysical source, or in a nonphysical state, such as a soulspirit.*
An individual soulspirit is an energy or force that animates and then transcends the mortal body, and moves on to the soulspirit realm whether to slip back into the cycle of life and death, enjoy some form of heaven****, or suffer some hell*****.
The Question:
What happens when you combine the beliefs of all the major religions of the world?
The Story Of Immortality: a religion we (or at least 97% of us) can all believe in…
An immortal being exists that is composed of every being, living and beyond living, that the living are mortally unaware of.
The afterlife realms are created by soulspirits in the material void of space we’ll call Pre-existence.** Prior to mortal birth individuals form as men and women in a soulspirit state, fragmented from the immortal being.
This fragmented soulspirit is not “part” of an individual man, but is the whole man — man as a living being on Earth.*** Each fragment is a whole man. Each man, a fragment of the whole.
For some, Earth is the realm of damnation where a person pays for all the karma*> of previous lives in this life.
For others, they are at peace to consider the good in life and work to become enlightened, though often distracted by the quest for immortality.
Those who achieve enlightenment first realize that physical immortality isn’t a path to enlightenment, and is ultimately unattainable: anything separated from the Whole, even those with so-called 'eternal life' - “gods” - that exist for ages and eons, can cease to live though they don’t succumb to disease or old age. Only as the immortal being do we survive.
If you live your life well, your karma improves and your station in the next life will be higher. But it will be lower if you live your life poorly.
The number of lives you live and the forms those lives take are a limited cycle of birth, death, rebirth, death, rebirth, death etc., according to the qualities of a person's actions.
When a person or animal dies, the soulspirit quiets and collects the storage of its Earthly experience, and death is first a state of non-existence, for anywhere from 3 to 4 days, usually. But on the fourth day after death, the soulspirit leaves the body taking all experience with it, and the body remains as an empty shell.
Some soulspirits who have died at peace but have yet to make amends for the bad things they’ve done find themselves in Purgatory*>> where they’re cleansed before they’re admitted into Heaven.
Other soulspirits who have been innocent of malicious evil and those who lived with virtue but were never predisposed toward religion in their lifetimes will discover themselves in the final destination of Limbo.*>>>
Residents of Purgatory and particularly Limbo occasionally manifest upon Earth as ghosts.
There will come for all a Final Judgment where soulspirits will be directed either to Hell or to Heaven. Even those living the repeating cycle of life and death will one day die for a final time.
After the Final Judgment, the soulspirits of all who have ever lived will be reunited with their resurrected bodies, whether for better or for worse.
At this point, some will achieve eternal life and live forever on a Paradise Earth. Here, you are no longer subject to causation (karma) but enter into a state of amata (deathlessness). Upon enlightenment, the "karmic seeds" for all future becoming and rebirth are exhausted. Eventually after many life times of perfecting their karma, these soulspirits are freed from the cycle and live in perpetual bliss. This will result in a glorified body which can reside in this form of Heaven.
However, others who are righteous will be resurrected for a final life in the Messianic age with the coming of the messiah. They will then be granted immortality in a perfect world.
Additionally, 144,000 people will receive immortality and go to yet another division of Heaven to rule followers as Kings and Priests. Strangely, some must play out roles of dominance and submission even beyond Earth. Since these immortal ones cannot die by any cause they will become "self-sustaining," not needing anything outside themselves to maintain existence henceforth.
Each of the above is a form of arhat (see below) who has entered into parinirvana, (also below) an everlasting state of transcendental happiness.
Then there is the underworld to which the souls of the unhappy dead depart. For there is no escape in pure Nothingness. There will be a resurrection of all men. The damned, too, shall reunite body and soulspirit, but shall remain eternally in Hell. Hell is not only a place of fiery torment, but can also be the common grave of humankind, a twilight place of near-unconsciousness. Even below Hell lies Yomi, the lowest underground world the wicked are dispatched to, or choose. It is silent. Dark. Cold. Lifeless. Meaningless. The wicked dead, for all purposes, will be resurrected for Nothing at all.
PLACES:
Pre-existence** the void of space perceived as empty by mortals, where all realms are
Earth*** look around, if you’re reading this and it’s 2009-2010, you’re there
Purgatory*>> where you go if you’re still guilty and need to graduate
Limbo*>>> where you go and stay if you never gave religion a second thought
Heaven**** bliss, nirvana, transcendental happiness
Hell***** torture, guilt, suffering
Yomi > below Hell, cold, dark, silent, flavorless stagnation
TERMS
Amata, a state of deathlessness
Arhat, one who enters into transcendental happiness
Final Judgment, upon oneself determines destiny
*>Karma, causation
Karmic seeds, energy nodes embedded in soulspirits for all future becoming and rebirth
Messianic age, when God is born on Earth, literally.
Parinirvana, an everlasting state of transcendental happiness
Punarjanma, a person that pays for all the karma of previous lives in this life.
*Soulspirit, the animator and survivor of organic life
Now here's a religion we can all (or nearly all) get behind.
We just need to name it, organize it and corrupt the heck out of it to become acceptable.
