Did not. Some of it did, if you think there are books that cover the news, or all of the knowledge passed in places like this? Don't get me wrong I have nothing against books but to call them superior to a new, easily updated, able to draw from multiple sourses device in most situation is ludacris.
I truly respect your opinion SeanRenaud. I believe that computers are indeed easy to manipulate, perhaps, for those who have the ability and knowledge on how to use it. However, there are still some who believe that the traditional existence of books should still be respected. But, this is my opinion that is...
I didn't try to disrespect the book. I'm an avid reader myself, and I prefer to have things in print before me. I prefer books it hurts my eyes to stare at a computer screen for too long.
Wikipedia is quickly becoming the favorite reference online and is notoriously unreliable. With that said I would rather have 8 different sources at the tips of my fingers for an event that happened 8 hours ago in Thailand than have to wait for, find, read the book then several others.
Well said Sean! I also enjoy reading articles and doing a lot of things thru the Net and just like you, sometimes I go for books instead of reading them from the computer because my eyes start hurting.
I think both books and computers have their own beneficial claims. There are some literary works found in books but are not published online. Yet, no all information from computers are in books.
To sum up all, as long as it gives a thing of knowledge and food to our brain, then, why not grab 'em?
For now, I'm quite attached to getting infos in the internet. At an instant click, you get what you want!
