Well now that I've informed you of my troublesome neighbour it seems even louder and drunker neighbours have moved in.
Outside the front yard on the road. There is this tree which at the moment is in blossom I guess. Not like the blossom you'd get on European trees. It's kinda off a dark purple flower. It just looks kinda reddish from a distance. Not a loud brilliant blossom. Returning home today I witnessed fights and yelling and screaming and even a few crash landings. These neighbours only turn up now and then. All sorts of Parrots. I'm no expert on Australian Parrots but my nice old lady neighbour watched mine and Princesses amusement as the fights and screaming took place. It seems the tree (Old Lady told me what it was called but I can't remember Umbrella or something) attracts all kinds and sizes of native parrots and for some reason they seem to get drunk on the flowers. She told us to look out in the morning to see them all sleeping off the effects. There must have been 50 odd different birds all brightly coloured and all loud and well punchy :)
We watched as various breeds ganged up on others to drive them off, then undo their good work by fighting amongst themselves and allowing the others to come back. One bird even fell out of the tree and tried to fly but it seems parrots can't fly upside down. Princess rushed over to help. The bird stumbled to his feet squarked at princess and promtly took off only to miss the branch he was trying to land on and then crashed into a couple of bigger birds who promtly let him have it, only to get attacked by the little birds mates.
It seems I've moved into a tough neighbourhood :)
