Alright, let's come up with a new
God. It would be very much easier if we could had done this six
thousand years ago because with 2009's Science advances, makes it
almost impossible to believe in a God, but let's bare with it. Firstly,
in order to make people believe in the God we're gonna create, we must
say it can't be seen by everyone, right? I mean, this way it will be
impossible to ever be denied, He just can't be seen. O.k, we
got that covered; now we must make this God interesting enough in order
to make people interested. I have an idea, let's tell everyone this
being can do all things like direct tornadoes, thunderstorms, cyclones,
bring plagues and heal all diseases and that He does anything we ask
Him to! Cool uh? It seems interesting enough, right? I mean an almighty
being paying attention to us weak mortals? Doesn't get any better.
Now
this seems impossible to believe, so let's make it tricky, there are
plenty of natural disasters so we can say that that's why they happen.
We must tell people that they must ask with faith though, believing
that what they ask for, they MUST believe it will happen, because we
tell them it requires faith for them to happen, that way if they, for
example, ask for the waters to be divided and it doesn't happen we can
say it's because their faith wasn't big enough, I mean, who could
believe that waters can be divided? Right?! So they will blame
themselves for their lack of faith. But there's gotta be a prize for
believing in this God, otherwise people will think it's pointless, they
will say “Well, why do I need to believe in this God?”. We're gonna
tell them that this God has created a place called Heaven and other
called Hell, that when they die, if they believed in this God they will go to Heaven which is a very happy place where we spend eternity in, if they
don't believe in our God, they will spend the rest of eternity in doom
and eternal torment within this place called Hell, nobody is gonna want
that! And plus, no one knows what happens after we die so they'll have
no way to know we're lying. I have another idea, to make it more
believable, we could tell stories about how this God has talked to us
and has made miracles to help us from our enemy, we can say He cured
our sickness, divided the sea for us, turned water into wine!
Let's
tell everyone this story but let's write down part of it, only a part
that says how we encountered this God and how He told us what He was
gonna do for us but He “hasn't done them yet”, we will call them
"Prophecies". We're gonna write this down but we're gonna tell everyone
that He's already done them. This way the story will get famous and
other people will write them too, but in their story, our God has
already done them, although we're only gonna write half of our story
which only says what our God was going to do. This way, in the future, when they find our writings, they will see it talks about our God and what He was gonna
do (half the story), and when they find what the others wrote, it will
say that our God has already done them and supposedly fulfilled the
"prophecies", that will make it more believable, they will think we
didn't lie and our God is real because He supposedly said something He
was gonna do and it was written down, then after a time it actually
happened because it will be written in other people's writings in an
ahead time.
What do you guys think? Sounds like a great idea. We
obviously will add more details and more stories, but we must tell them
to as many people as we can, so about 40 people from this generation on
re-write this stories. Wait a second, this sounds a little too
familiar, doesn't it?
