Things have been better since I last wrote. I have found myself spending more time alone with just me, my thoughts, and my dvd player that seems to only play my sad sappy love movies. And I can't help but think about everything; everynight in my sleep it replays over and over in my dreams, of how things happened with my ex. I know I messed up, but I can't change that, and he has moved on I should as well.

 

So, back in August I went to visit family in the same place I grew up, and I got to catch up with some of my old guy friends! One of them I use to date back in high school but we are now just friends. The four of us had a great time, went to dinner and a movie and then to the bar and had some drinks!

 

But, one of them whose always been quiet and shy and still is in some sense the guy I remember from highschool. Sweet, and caring, and always curious but still reserved. He kept giving me looks, and they were prying looks- like he wanted to know more about whatever I was saying, but the loudness of those in the bar- and the baseball chatter between the other two prevented that. He even picked on me some while he sipped his beer, smiling at me. And then after that night, we became facebook friends and even chatted on AIM and facebook every now and then, and then he asked for my phone number, which I gave him and turned into us texting daily! We would text for hours! And then one day on my way to class with time to kill, I called him.

 

He answered and we talked before my class, and then we talked again later on that night, and the next- an we have talked on the phone every day since the day I called him which was over 2.5 weeks ago! He calls everynight, and we stil text while he's at work and me in class.

 

:-) I blush just thinking about everything we talk about- from money- to politics and religion, to what we both want to do in the future. And then I asked him to be my date to a wedding this coming saturday the 10th. One of my college girlfriends is getting married and I needed a date. So, he is driving the 4hours to come be with me for the wedding!

 

He said he'd love to come and were going to celebrate both of our birthday's since were both September babies- and we are going to dinner at some of my favorite places which he has promised to try.

 

I can't help but get my hopes up! I am so excited to see him, and just talk! We started to get close in highschool and then I switched schools, and that was the last time I talked to him until last year when he sent me a instant message on AIM asking if I was okay- because he noticed some of my away messages.. how sweet is that!

 

I can't wait to see what happens with him! Although trying to not get tooo excited!!
