We, the people, should hold our government responsible for taking jobs away from the American workforce. Now we see it. How our own government has caused the lack of jobs and the ending of small business in America. We should take our local politicians to task and have them mandate some kind of legistation that would force Congress to end Cafta and Nafta> This has taken away jobs and businesses and ruined communities all around the world. We are paying the price for our leaders that have sold America out for their own profit and power. Before it comes to a revolution here this needs to be enacted for the people do have the power if they would only stand together as one voice and use it.---We are looking at vast numbers of homeless people from all walks of life with nowhere to go.Without homes, without jobs what does one do??There will be an unleashing of crime for hungry people have nothing to lose.Before we go any deeper into an unprecedented depression the people need to rise up and put all of them out of office and demand pay back for taking jobs and homes from American people.

Protectionism doesn't work. It will only invite retaliation from our trading partners and make things worse for everyone.
Better to increase the value of American labor by investing in innovations and capabilities and creating goods and services that are desired around the world.
Not that I am confident that the current administration is capable of this in any way...

Do you not know that because of these trade agreements people around the world hae lost their way of living as they are being forced to grow crops for money instead of those that traditionally fed themselves? Protectionism??Exactly what is your definition of that word??If America would set an example for other countries they would take care of their own first and be a light to them; for them to follow.If giving away the rights of your people and their jobs is the way to take care of Americans then we are doing a great job.
