i was watching the news last night and was horrified! a child who seems to have a mental illness climbed the top of this huge whatchamacallit - electric post of some kind. anyway, he was up there dancing and stayed there for about 4 or 5 hours and nobody tried to get him! the parents were shouting at him to go down and there were people milling around but nobody even contacted the fire department!!!!! aaarggh!!!!
then here comes a drunk guy and shoots the poor kid!!!! he was shot at the side of his stomach!!! my goodness i can't even describe my outrage when i saw it happen!!!!!!!!!the kid was shot like an animal!!!(and we don't even shoot animals for goodness sake, it's animal cruelty)
then the kid tried to hang on for dear life but then when he got tired he let go and fell to the ground and he died.....
its just so sad that no help came and when they did come it was already too late.
i just pray he's in heaven now...and pray that the worthless piece of sh!t will rot in jail!

That's also one point of having too much crimes and some of the teens or kids are more aligned to violence.
Co'z of the stuff they see on TV.
Nah how can we solve that.
We should have at least see what exactly is happening to our country.
But we should avoid the children to see such violence.
World is getting miserable.

I agree with you mr right,
children nowadays watch too much violent scenes such as wrestling and killings.
There was once I heard in the news that a boy was killed when his friend/brother did to him what a wrestler would do like on tv, in malaysia children played with real knifes following too much action movies until one of them was killed, children trying to fly like superman.......and the list goes on and on..

yes there is definitely too much violence happening in the world right now and tv is bringing it to our doorstep...we should be extra careful in choosing the shows we let our children watch

Kids nowadays are very smart. Like my eldest son, he follows just whatever people does. My husband smokes so when my son sees the cigarette box, he would take out one cigarette and put it in his mouth!! Luckily my son does not watch much tv but he likes to watch music videos and dances to the tune!! :-)
