Somehow, this latest round of praise for the annointed one is reminisent of early 1994.  It seems as if The Crash Test Dummies lead singer has taken up teaching after it became real to him that his first album was his only one.
I saw it on the news and my jaw dropped for two reasons.  One was at how blatantly lame and uncreative the whole thing was, and the other was how it seems to remind one of North Korea.
One can understand why there were parents who were able to light cigarettes on their foreheads after finding this out.  For one thing, it is raw and uncut indoctrination.  They are simply issuing these children their opinions.  Another is the fact that if the children were taped singing praise to Old W. the liberal media would be having fits on top of brain hemmorages.  And lastly, they are disguising it as their way of celebrating black history month in their school.  What's next, a bust of the president sitting on top on The American Flag with children chanting, "I pledge allegiance to Obama.........  This is simply an insult to the intelligence of a bag of hammers.
This is a prime example of the one-sidedness of your text-book-liberal.  They believe that everyone has their own opinions, as long as it corresponds with theirs.

    1.  I agree with most of what you said however you are uniformed and or lying.

    2.  They are not issuing "opinioins" about Obama.  They are issuing facts.  Not a single thing said there is not provably true about him ergo not an opinion.  He has said equal pay means equal work, he has said that everybody deserves and equal chance etc etc.

    3.  Children WERE video tapes singing the praises of Bush.  What's more is unlike this where Obama can at least claim (and honestly probably truthfully) that he had nothing to do with it Bush was PRESENT and posed with the children who sang the song.  It was doubly bad because this was rather random, Bush's was clearly politically driven because it was Children singing about how Bush, Congress and FEMA saved the day after Hurricane Katrina (and you know years later New Orleans is still fucked)  And the media ignored it.

    4.  Don't you find it very curious that something that happened in February is just now making the rounds?  Don't talk about "the liberal media" because the liberal media hasn't been able to stop people from discussing Obama's birth certificate.  It hasn't been able to stop people from talking about how he's surrendering the nation and a bunch of other stuff that "sane" people don't believe.  So riddle me this, how EXACTLY did something like this stay under wraps for seven months?

    5.  None of this changes the fact that it shouldn't have happened and must be stopped.  That is not how we behave in the US.

Makes the idea that the ones in power write their own history become all too true, doesn't it?
  • SeanRenaud said on Sep 28, 2009....
That's considered an idea?  I always treated it as fact.

    Don't emote. It's subjective!

It is strange that such ire is rising over something so very
mild.  While our young men and women were being maimed and killed during the lie about mass distruction.  Where were you then.  You care about the dumbest things. You raise h___ about things that have nothing to do with life or
death.  Just your stupid racist opinions that are governed by a pea sized brain.

Sheesh, at least we're not child molesters, we're just racists. Self-serving idiot.
  • SeanRenaud said on Sep 29, 2009....
Besides even if it was a lie (and I'm not completely convinced that it was) Saddam needed to die anyway and Clinton SHOULD have handled it.
  • javadewd said on Sep 29, 2009....
But nobody even though of blaming Clinton until the liberals started bitching about GW taking care of business.

And no, really, we're not racists, either. That's simply how idiots think they end a conversation these days. I'm sure that Biff and Muffy are LOL about it right now.

Because Clinton made a judgement call.  And while I fault him for it history may well decide he made the right call and Bush made the wrong call.  I think that the differences between them (such as Clinton had nothing major going military wise where as Bush had Afghanistan) are such difference makers that they really can't be compared too much beyond that.
