Howdy!

Hope everybody's doing well in their part of this world.

As for me, all's well, except for some instances that I can't blog because I am always out of town busy fulfilling some of the requirements for my travel next month. Am I glad to have this time. :)

Ahhh, it's been quite some time  when I broke the news and a lot of things happened since then. I've taken the reigns in the office, while fulfilling important things at the same time. In a few days, I'd be relinquishing the OIC post, and I am glad that somehow, I came to experience how it is to run an office. My conclusion: I am not yet prepared for it.

In all honesty, I couldn't do it. Yet.

That is why I so admire younger people who aspire for higher positions. Perhaps they are prepared for it; having what it takes to run an office. I say it isn't very easy. A lot of unseen things suddenly became evident that I am not prepared to face.  It takes experience, patience, critical thinking, prompt but effective decision-making, empathy, etcetera, etcetera. Indeed, "things are not what they seem to be".

Btw, I have not had much time to respond to my posts, why? Our internet connection is so fucked up it can't wait to get offline in 20-30 minutes interval. I've constructed my responses for an hour and a half, glad to finish it and when I press the submit button, the screen goes blank. "Connection timed-out" appears and voila! The typed responses disappear! My apologies, I've read your comments though, thank you...

On the brighter side, baby's 8 months old, and I am quite ecstatic about seeing teeth popping out of those once gummy smile. Time sure flies so fast. She's learning to walk, and can recognize familiar faces. It worries me to leave her for almost a month, but I've made up my mind.
