Things I have learned about life, inspired by Kindergarten Wisdom.
1. If you make a mess, you really should clean it up.
2. Boys can be weird. Girls can be weird. Just depends which side of the fence you're on.
3. Laugh everyday. Repeat as necessary.
4. Always be kind. (This includes being kind to yourself.) The world can be an unfriendly intimidating place, and small kindnesses can make a real difference in somebody's day.
5. Try not to be gross where people can see you. We all belch, we all fart, and we all pick our noses, but as mama said, we all should do those things in private, dear.
6. Don't take yourself too seriously. Find your inner silliness, and celebrate it. (See Truth #3.)
7. Sometimes, it's a great idea to forget the salad, and eat an ice cream sundae for dinner. I don't care what the food police say.
8. Always try your best. We don't always succeed, but at least try.
9. If you hurt someone's feelings, say you're sorry. And try hard not to do it again.
10. It's okay to ask for help if you need it. Thank those who help you, and help others when you can.
Add more to the list if you like. And go be silly.
