  Plus your argument is severely lacking because the only reason Russia gave a crap about the missle defense plan was because they are bullies.  There is no logical reason for Russia to be against this plan and no logical reason for Obama to back away from it.  I wonder will the left be crying that the President made the country less safe?  The plan had nothing to do with Russia and everything to do with Iran and Russia will not support sanctions against Iran, hmm.

  bloc-why do waste you moral relativist nonsense on me?  Russia is not the US and any comparison is just plain silly.  There is no amount of missle defense that would stop Russia from wiping out Poland and the Czech Republic, everyone knows this and everyone knows this missle defense had nothing to do with Russia.  Well everyone except Obama.

  smb is the one who is a moral relativist. This is a prime example. It's ok for American to put missiles in someone else's back yard, but it would be wrong for them to put missiles in our backyard. Another famous example from smb is that it's OK for america to waterboard people, but it's not ok for other countries to waterboard americans.

  Poland and the Czech republic are allies and the idea was to help our allies with missle defense while at the same protecting our eastern seaboard.
   
  bloc-missles in the backyard put there by the United States is not the same thing as missles in the backyard put there by the Russians.  And we are not talking about missles we are talking about missle defense. 
   
  And why the waterboarding comment?  You lost the debate a long time ago and now you are trying to drag that out as if you had a point a while ago.  Obama released the memo, you remember, the memo sealed the deal that we don't torture people with the use of waterboarding, period, end of story, get over it.
