I know that today's date will always be remembered for such terrible tragedy. 

We will never forget those people ever.



We must celebrate life too on this date or the perpetrators of such crimes will have won.

Therefore, I would like to wish our dear twylar and speaking_up a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Now I don't know if twylar would want me to say how old she is ;-) but I know that dear speaking_up will not mind me saying that today she is a wonderful 50 YEARS YOUNG today!!

    Oh, PeeCee, this is such a nice thought...thank you, Sweetie.  It is a sad day for so many because of 9/11 and, for Speaking, a much more personal tragedy.
    But reading so many beautiful birthday wishes from everyone here makes me very thankful to be turning 60.

    I thought and thought whether I should do it and then I thought, hey, all those people who lost their lives would not wish for the world to stop, just that we always remember them so I think it is a great honour for two wonderful ladies to celebrate their birthday on this day too.

    Thank you, Ladies & Gentleman!  I had a really nice day at work. Since our security badges show our birth day, (not the year, thankfully) I got Happy Birthday
    shout outs everywhere I went.  Plus, lots of nice smelly stuff....English lavender soap, almond bath beads, tea rose shower gel, plumeria lotion...are they trying to tell me something?  Hah! No, we just give each other smelly stuff and cake for birthdays. Or liquor, but I don't drink.
    I got beautiful flower arrangements from the kids, phone calls and cards.
    But you guys started my day off perfectly with all the B'Day messages.  I can't thank you enough, honestly.  You don't know how much it means to me...you make 60 feel like the new 40!
