“I can’t take anymore of your damn beliefs!”.
This was the last words of a son to his religious father before he slammed the door and turn away.
This two unlikely person can never agree at all.
The father was faithful to his religion and he wants his son to be like him. But unfortunately, his son doesn’t agree it at all.
His son doesn’t like the religion that he had inherited from his father. He was bored and uncomfortable on the teachings or even the ritual/traditions. He wants to break free and search a religion that he felt right for him. There he decided to leave.
The father tried to stop his son and scolded him for being unfaithful to their God. But the son continue to turn away and travel around the world…searching
For certain months, the son had found his place in a certain religion and lives to its way. He didn’t even remember his father until a telegram was received from his relatives.
That his father had die.
He felt sorrow and regret. He wish it was a damn pranks or just plainly threats to make him go back. But it was not.
The son returned home and visits the grave of his father. After there, he went to a temple to pray.
Then he wrote in a piece of paper:
Dear father,
Would you ever forgive me?
From: Unworthy Son
After he wrote these words he folds it and went to the wall where thousand of papers were inserted. As he searched for a place for his note, a folded paper just drops from its place.
He picked it up…
Wondering what was written in it…
Opening slowly…
As he read …he burst into tears…
Do you know what message that made this man cried?
Just this:
[Handwriting of his Father’s]
My Son,
You are already forgiven…
Father
