Hi all,

just wanted to say thank you esp to PC and GG for all the support. Things are better than i thought they would be. I still don't trust the situation that she has gotten herself into, but honestly, it's her situation. She called to let me know she was safe and made it to seattle, i can't ask for anything more. I have always believed that if i cannot effect a situation it is not my responsibility to try to do so. Easy to say and hard to do when it is one of your own who is in the soup, so to speak. But the truth is, i can't change it, so i am going to just put it in God's hands and let go. He'll do a better job than i with it anyway.

My oldest son is doing wonderfully. It turned out to be a bad bone bruise, not a fracture (thank God) and after just one day off his team-mates harrangued him into suiting up and practicing yesterday without any ill effects. He's still quite sore but it's nothing my boyo can't handle (all the testosterone here is killing me! *grins*)

I've had my bad days and i am back on track. I'm working on the house manual. Getting things i didn't have time to do with all the drama in order. And i started the compost for my garden and the recipe testing for the vegitarian adventure i am on. The other kids (even my 9 yr old) have been amazingly supportive about the whole vegitarian thing. It's cute because they are all pretty much picky eaters like their Dad and ow they want to try part time vegitarianism. Our first attempt (a yummy roasted turnip and potato dish) went over like the hindenburg. It flew while i was cooking it, everyone oo'd and ahh'd about how good it smelled and looked and then they all scraped it into the mulch bucket after dinner. But it's the moral support, the acceptance and generosity of spirit that i am enjoying right now, even if they don't like my food *grins*.

Things will be better now. Thank you again for the support, kind words, encouragement. I have really enjoyed my sojurn in this little community and hope to stay for a while.

Be well,
winter.

Just some thoughts about how very different my life has become in the past year and a half - everything seems smaller somehow.

My family got smaller - no more Armadillo, and in many ways, that changed my entire world ... and then it got bigge...
Question: Do you keep a personal, private journal? Would you share it with your partner if they asked to see it?...
Hello, blogging world. First off - I'm mostly writing as a sort of online diary kinda thing. This is for my benefit, not yours, so if you don't like it... tough! Second, I would appreciate any and all comments anybody would like to make. I know the way I...

Many people think that that is what a blog is, a journal...but...
