Today I was doing some puttering around in the living room while my 2 grandkids were watching tv... the cartoon channel of all things. Well, I wasn't really watching, but I heard mention of talk insinuating about passing gas... farting. I started paying a bit more attention, and of course it was also the smell etc. It was getting pretty "rank" no pun intended. I cannot believe what is going on with kids tv!!
A short time after that, my grandson asked me to change the channel and they started watching icarly. I am sure most who have kids have heard of this program. It is on many times a day every day. I had stopped paying any attention and went about my business on FB.
After a moment, my oldest grandson asked me what "hob knocker" meant. Well, I had no idea so I looked it up on google. This is what I found. I cannot believe what I read. My grandson (10) also read the first definition.
Why on earth would "icarly" keep on yapping about this, using this kind of slang on a kids tv program is beyond me. I will not let my kids watch this program any more at my house. This is just totally disgusting and very inappropriate!!
I think this is just getting too out of control with what kids are watching these days.
