Ok, so why is it that things like incest and marrying someone that was 12 when you were 30 was accepted back in the day and now it's illegal?? Any and every love should be allowed. People that think differently can go fuck themselves. And like the whole issue of having kids with someone of your own blood being bad, there's such a thing as adoption. And ya know what? Your great-great-grandparents could have been cousins! Would you still be against incest if you wouldn't be here if it wasn't for them? Incest, in my book, is ok.

And the whole thing of 18 being 'legal' is dumb. It should be a measure of maturity, not age. And people that are 13 that date 26 yr olds are ok in my book, too. And those people that say, 'oh, they are taking advantage of them!' are stupid and need to shut up. What about all those people that get taken advantage of that are like 24+?? Are they kids? No! Their just too dumb to realise that they are being taken advantage of!

So there is my opinion on incest and age differences (underage).

I completley agree with you on all of it.  I wish there was a way to measure when a child is mature enough for sexual relations or something lol.  idk if you've heared but most  toddlers masturbate. Thats putting it bluntly.  I'm for sure not saying they should be alloud to have sex ,hell no ,but it's interesting that for some the need for sexual gratification comes as early as when they are a baby.

Yeah. The sad thing is that I'm 14 and more mature than some adults. And wow, I did not know that. Some weird mental images came up, but ok. And like I said, back in the day, by the time you were fertile, you were married and having kids.

Another thing with age and maturity! Like people being able to drink, at least legally, at 21 is really stupid. It's the age where people are in college and party. Everything that has an age requierment (my spelling sucks, just so you know) is retarded. It should all be about a persons maturity.

I wouldn't have guessed you were that young.  Anyway is just comes down to the fact I guess that we can't measure a person maturity level.  We have some research out there I'm sure like with the development of the brain.  No offense intended lol but teenagers brains just aren't developed enough to handle alchol.  My opinion at least is at 13 it seems one starts finding their sexuality and by the age of 18 most have figured out what their sexual needs are already. With drinking I could see the law allowing 18 year olds but in most casses that would be just a mistake I've seen lots of underage drinking and I can see why it's illegal.  Honestly when I was your age I found it so unfair but now being older I have a differant perspective from experience one I wish I didn't have lol

I'll take that as a compilment. Like there should be something where their put in a real life situation and how they react is their maturity. Haha, I know. Most teens are living in the now. I'm preparing for the tomorrow.

When I was 11 I started noticing the beauty of other girls. And people that are 25 are still experimenting and trying to find what suits them. Everything that is dangerous is grouped too close together. 16- driving. 18- legal adult. 21- drinking. At 16, people party. At 18, people are in college and party. At 21, people are in effin college and partying! It doesn't make sense. And with so many people getting arrested for underage drinking, I'm surprised the govt. just doesn't lower or eliminate the drinking age.

And when the 26 year old dumps the 13 year old mother?

There either needs to be parental consent or a formal legal severance of parental responsibility.

Similarly, you mention cousins, but what about siblings?  Birth defects increase appreciably in such cases and may impose not inconsiderable financial burdens on the taxpayer or serious suffering by innocent parties (the malformed children) if we choose to not spend money on the results of these previously disallowed activities.

I appreciate the Libertarian sentiment, but freedom needs to be indulged with eyes wide open and the consequences of risky behavior mitigated for affected parties.

While we're at it, we can include other risky behavior that can affect others, but not always.  Drug use, motorcycle riding without helmets, smoking, prostitution.  Let it ride, but make sure everyone's well informed.

When the 26 yr old dumps the 13 yr old mother, if it's his kid, he'll be paying child support.--- But the point I was trying to make with the age difference is that if someone is 'underage' and their in love with an 'adult', they shouldn't be kept apart for such a small factor as age. Why should age matter when you are on the same level of maturity and you can connect with them? Love is love. Simple as that.--- Did you not see that I said they could adopt? If a brother and sister want to have that relationship, then they should be able to accept that they would not be able to have kids together. While getting the love they want from one another, they could still have their own child. Blood be damned.--- How is it risky behavior if there aren't any children being born from the union? And all the things you mentioned, while true, have nothing to do with this topic. Drugs and the like are dangerous but are the actions of one person. And none of them include loving another. But of damaging their own bodies.---(the purpose of the --- is because my computer has been acting crazy and probably won't have spaces.)
