Summary:

More than 13 years of IT experience as an
MS Access developer, 11 of which as a Senior MS Access Developer.  This includes design, development,
implementation and testing of applications using MS Access, all versions, from
2.0 through 2007. VBA, Visual Basic, Crystal Reports, ODBC, SQL, ActiveX, SPSS,
MS Word, MS Excel and SQL Servers as back end under Windows NT environment with
extensive experience in: stored procedures, triggers, data modeling, systems
design and project management, data analyst, database  administration,   database documenter and tester.  This is everything needed to begin and
complete database projects to the utmost. 
Security Issues: I know how to secure databases.  When I did the work for the Small Business
Administration I placed 4 levels of security in the code to make sure data was
seen only by those who should see it, manipulate it etc.  When I was with the Washington Navy Yard I
secured a dozen databases from “unsafe expressions” to make them function with
alternate code.  This required extensive
rebuilding of some of the databases.

Large databases require huge amounts of testing.  Some need this done robotically (by computer)
to make practical.  Documenting the database is also aided by robotic techniques built into
the program for fast and efficient documentation.  I create the robotic programs for your
systems.

Created
complex MS Access program in MS Access 2003 to reverse engineer a web program
for the FBI.  The program required advanced MS Access, VBA
and programming skills to convert what was on an SQL server to MS Access.  I was responsible for reading the server’s sql and examine the forms to put into the MS Access
program.

Completed  a very short but very important financial database for Wells Fargo where I had to use MS Access to build a database for a very complex business application.  I
automated Access with Excel using VBA code to extract information from dozens
of Excel files and import them into MS Access in a very special way.

Short-term contract, but a vital one, to enable them to finish a billion dollar contract on time with DuPont.   It was a financial database to do their payroll.  Access 2003, reporting, heavy use of VBA etc. were required as well as VBScript.  I was the right man for the job.

·        \Created a financial database in Access 2003 to run their BikeNRide program. This was a solo project.

·        Created an employee discipline program that tracks errors and warnings sent.

·        Managed creation of program from scratch, from cradle to grave, to fulfill this need.

·        Created sophisticated Access 2003 Project. Program “CORE” (Customer Order Review and
Entry) took text files of customer orders, parsed them line-by-line into tables. It extracted all-important data for analysis then entered data into a stand-alone program by automating keyboard to enter information.

·        Created entire MS Access program to read doc. files, parse contents, place contents
into varies fields in a table and created reports from them.

·        Automated keyboard to place information into another off-the-shelf program.
